Sinful Colors In the Spotlight Swatches

Here's a swatch of one of the new Sinful Colors glitters, In The Spotlight, which in fact does look similar to the China Glaze Prismatic Chroma polishes that came out last year.

In the Spotlight is a light shimmery seafoam green with small multi-colored glitters. The first coat was much sheerer than I anticipated. However, I was pleased that I was able to got a good opacity within 3 coats.
Formula-wise, it's thick and gooey, like most of their polishes. Not really a deal breaker since it was manageable and less than $2.00.

I apologize for the lack of natural lighting in these pix. I try to take pictures of my nail swatches in natural light as much as possible but it just wasn't available for me at the time.

    1. I use a bit of cotton ball soaked in acetone, put inside the nail soakers, and let my nails soak in it for 5-7 minutes. The nail soakers have been a life saver for me. You can see how they look like on this post --> http://xxxbeautyredefinedxxx.blogspot.com/2012/03/nail-polishes-glitters-and-nail-soakers.html

  2. This looks really good on you...then again, what doesn't? LOL I read your post on the nail soakers - I had no idea that there was such a thing...I should try to hunt that down and then maybe I'll use my glitter polishes more often.

    1. I read some bad reviews about those nail soakers and the major problem is, people don't use cotton balls. They just pour acetone and dip their fingers in it. You need to fill the soakers with a bit of cotton ball too, otherwise, acetone will leak everywhere. The cotton will prevent that from happening and you will use less acetone that way too.
