Collective Haul and Swatches (Pic Heavy)

WHHHHEWIE! I'm sowie for being away but while I was away from me blog I was also busy shopping. It's been crazy in my world and needed some serious retail therapy. So here's what I've collected from the past few days.

These new NYX Prismatic eyeshadows are now available at Ulta for $6 a pot. So far, my first impression is wow, these are so pigmented and swatch beautifully! They feel so creamy!! It's currently on BOGO sale at Ulta right now.

Jaded, Liquid Gold, Fireball

Another interesting new product from NYX is this new tinted brow mascara ($6.99). I got the shade black, but to me looks more like a dark brown which I think is ideal for brunettes.

I don't know what it is with me and concealers lately but it feels like I just can't get enough. Picked the Maybelline Master Conceal light/medium on the fly. It's thick but creamy and gives pretty good coverage. This shade is perfect for my skin tone.

Found me some Wet n Wild on on sale at Walgreens and I picked up these two. Bleached is a cream base with iridescent gold, orange, and green glitter. It's really pretty and makes me want to do a spring look with it. On the other hand Nutty is a medium cool toned taupe brown. It has a nice creamy feel to it with a decent pigmentation.

Also from Walgreens, got these pairs of Demi Wispies. Packaging is adorable but so bulky. I love the hint of purple. Gives lashes more flair.

Lorac has been on sale on and off pretty frequently lately on Hautelook. I got these two cream eyeliners in the shade Black Ruby and Plum.

Black Ruby

I was ecstatic when I found this Make Up Forever Midnight Glow at my local TJ Maxx. However, after I swatched it, I was rather disappointed at the lack of pigmentation. Ughh, I wished I had looked up the review before buying. On the swatches below, I had to use a glitter primer base and several pass for the color to show. If you find it, my advice is skip it. Not worth the sale price.

One of those days, I decided to make a stop at CVS. Milani happened to be on sale BOGO so I picked up two lipsticks and one of the new Cover Girl Lava Gloss.

I wanted to pick up at least a couple shades from the Matte line but was only able to get Matte Naked cause the rest was gone from the display. It's a lovely natural looking color.

Double Espresso is a dark brown color with a bit of a frosty shine to it.

Lava Glow is not too thick or too thin and has a decent amount of gold pigment although you won't get full opacity with it. It's nice for layering over a lipstick to give it a little more oomph.

Been a long time since I visited the Bare Minerals outlet store in my local area. I managed to pick a few items of interest.

Came across this Marvelous Moxie lipstick in the shade Feel The Love and I thought it looked so pretty when I swatched it. It feels hydrating an has a lovely pinky nude color that I find will flatter many skin tone.

I picked up the Wild Thing Ready Palette. I loved the color combination and all the shades have a really nice texture and pigmentation. I think I could probably come up with a look with all these colors together.

I got The Shining Moment Ready Luminizer, which is a gold highlighter. The packaging is sleek. I love the quilted pattern. It's not too shimmery, just shiny enough to give you a natural warm glow.

Got 4 new eyeshadow pigments. Didn't need that many but these eyeshadows and the lipstick were 5 for $35 so I thought that was a good bundled deal.

Sterling Silver, Impression, Zany, Joy

While I was at the outlet mall I stopped by the OCC but didn't find anything I wanted beside this cream eyeshadow from Origins. GingerZing is a light medium beige with a soft gold shimmer to it. I thought it looked pretty.

Well that's it for my haul. I'm sure I forgot a few things but believe I got most of them mentioned here.

  1. Oh so much good stuff! I would love to try that maybelline matte poreless! We don't even have the regular fit me line here! The nyx brow mascara sounds good too! Most 'dark brown' shades I find in asia are not dark at all, so black or grey usually is what I'd go for. Those singles from wet n wild look great too, I've seen plenty about nutty and it's a single that would get plenty of use!
