Drugstore Haul - CVS & Walgreens

The other day I took a couple hours off work to meet up with my son's teachers. After the conference, I still had one hour to kill before heading to work so I decided to check out if anything new came out. Milani was on sale, BOGO 50%.

CVS haul
  • Milani Shadow Eyez Green Safari and Royal Purple. These eyeshadow pencils claim to last up to 12 hours, water-resistant, and crease-proof. Sounds like something I would be interested in so I want to give these a try. I'm excited about this green, it looks like a gorgeous emerald.
  • Milani High Speed Fast Dry White On The Spot
  • Milani One Coat Glitter Blue Flash
  • Spoiled Show Me The Money is a beautiful greenish gold glitter polish.
  • Rimmel Kate lipstick #12. It looks like a gorgeous coral. I'm excited try it.

Walgreens haul
  • Aveeno Nourish and Moisturize shampoo and conditioner. Aveeno was on sale for BOGO 50% off. I've been wanting to try their hair products.
  • Aveeno Nourish and Strengthen conditioner
  • Aveeno Nourish and Condition leave-in conditioner
  • Sally Hansen Diamond Strength White Veil. I saw these new SH glitter polish and I just had to have them. White Veil has a mixture of gold and white glitters.
  • Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Ring A Ding has a mix of gold and copper glitters.
  • Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Multi-Faceted has a mix of black, silver, purple, and green.
  • L'oreal Silver Sparkle is a sheer silvery light lilac with gold, teal, and blue glitters. The picture just doesn't do it justice. It's so beautiful in person.

I've included swatches of all the polishes.

That's pretty much it for my haul. Thanks for stopping by :)

Swatches - Spoiled Nail Polish Glitters

Here I go again with more nail polish spams. I hope you don't mind. I have to keep up with my hauls you know. :)
I think these Spoiled polishes are only being sold in CVS stores. I have not seen them sold anywhere else but I could be wrong. They are very inexpensive. I can't remember the price but I think a couple bucks each.

Jewelry Heist is a pretty popular glitter because it's the one I always see being sold out. I can see why beause it's got such a pretty mix of glitters. It looks like a pot of precious gems. The swatches don't do much justice but I assure you you won't be disappointed when you see it in person.

Shuffle the Deck is a cute name and perfect for this polish which has red, silver, and black glitters. It really does remind you of the colors you see in a deck of cards.

I don't know how they came up with the name Pirate's Booty but I like the tiny gold and copper glitters in this polish. The base has a very slight yellow tinge to it. This makes a nice top coat on top of another color.

I love the mix of colors in Trust Fund Baby...blue, pink, gold, and black. The pink glitters are squared, which is cool and different cause they tend to be typically hexagonal or round in most polishes.

As with most glitter polishes, you may find yourself attempting to move the glitters around so that they are more evenly distributted across your nails. So the application is a bit of work, but if you like the mix of colors you are getting, I think it's worth the trouble.
The main gripe I have about these polishes is the huge brush applicator. It's like the size of two OPI brushes combined. I mean dang it's too huge for me because I have narrow nails. Another thing is the bristles are very unevenly cut. It's not so bad because these are glitters but I would hate having to work with that brush for applying nail color.

So tell me, which is your favorite Spoiled glitter?

Huge CVS Collective Haul!!!

Hello lovelies,

Last night, I cleaned my computer's disk and defraged and so my computer is running a lot smoother and faster now! Yayyy! I was literally falling asleep trying to work on my posts because it was that slow.
These are the new goodies I collected from CVS in the past couple weeks. I have more stuff to show you (cause I've been bad) but that will be in a separate post.

Alright now on to my haul...

  • CVS Soft Cloths. Since makeup remover wipes can be pretty costly, baby wipes are seriously the best alternative. I actually think that they work better, are bigger, and much more affordable. This pack of 72 cloths only cost me a couple bucks. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular makeup wipes.
  • Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Wash, fig + shea butter. I got these on BOGO 50% sale, plus each of them had a $1.00 coupon on the bottle so I saved an additional $2.00! Woo hoo! This smells so good!

  • Essie Play Date (left) and Essie Navigate Her (right). I have been dying to get these two polishes ever since I spotted them in stores but I had to resist the temptation. My sister is taking forever to get them for me so guess what I went and got them! heheheh. Don't worry sis, I did not pay retail for these! I used my $10 CVS gift card and $4 CVS coupon.  I'm esctatic about the savings!

  • Milani nail polishes...Ok, I lost my self-control, obviously. From left to right: Mint Candy, Orchidia, Beach Front, Tip Toe Pink, Diamond Dazzle, and Hot Flash. I am most excited about Mint Candy and Orchidia. I don't know why I picked so many. Oh wait, I remember I did because they were on BOGO sale and I had a coupon, lol.

  • Spoiled Nail Polishes. From left to right: Jewelry Heist, Shuffle the Deck, and Pirate's Booty. Wow Jewelry Heist is so pretty and I've had trouble getting my hands on it. This shade is always sold out whenever I go to CVS. Pirate's Booty is perfect for layering and extra oomph!

  • Confetti Margarita Senorita. My first Confetti polish! I was just in the mood for a yellow polish and I like that it's not too bright. There was a teal one I was thinking of getting but maybe next time.

  • Revlon Strawberry Shortcake. I was hesitant to get this but I did because I was going to get $4 extra care bucks back! LOL...I couldn't say no to that.

  • Wet N Wild Mega Liner Indigo Blue. This is a new shade and I'm curious to give it a whirl.
Honestly, CVS is like my favorite place to shop for drugstore goods. They always have coupons and amazing deals! I love the savings. It makes me want to come back for more! heheheh.
