Collective Haul - BBW, VS, Milani, Orly, theBalm

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a few items that I've hauled and collected since my last haul, which seemed like not that long ago, lol.
Bath & Body Works is currently having their semi-annual sale and last weekend since I was shopping for a baby shower gift, I decided to stop by the store to get a few items. The only things that interested me were the skincare. The True Blue Spa Apricot & White Tea face scrub and the Blackberry Face mask are repurchases. The pumpkin face mask is something new that I wanted to try to see if I'll like it as much as the other two. These were buy 2 get one free.

Victoria's Secret body lotions. These were actually party favors from my cousin's baby shower.

I made another trip to CVS because I had some extra bucks coupons I needed to use before they expire. From there, I purchased two more Milani Shadow Eyez and another Milani baked eyeshadow.

A couple weeks ago, I made a pit stop at Sally Beauty Supply after I got off work and found that they had a new display of Orly glitter polishes. I picked up Sashay My Way. It's a holographic gold hex glitters with holographic gold bar glitters. It was the only one who drew my attention.

I purchased theBalm Meet Matte palette from Hautelook a little while back. I still haven't got a chance to use it yet, smh. Well, more like I keep forgetting, lol.

I've already started to play with some of these products while some are still sitting there waiting for some love. I will try posting swatches and reviews as soon as I get a better feel for them.

Birthday Haul - Beauty

I received a few beauty products as birthday gifts and just had to share with you all

• Aveeno Positively Nourishing body lotion, pomegranate + grapefruit. Smell fruity and citrusy. I love Aveeno products.
• A very cute mug with some Bath and Body Works goodies: Malibu Heat lotion, Pink Chiffon lotion, and Pink Chiffon fragrance mist. The mug is adorable. What a perfect gift to give a friend. I'm also excited to try these new scents.
• $40 Sephora gift card. Wow, that was such a generous gift. I am so blessed to have wonderful friends. I'm not too sure at the moment what I will be getting with the gift card but you know I will most definitely share with you my future haul.
• $25.00 cash, not pictured.

I went to Sally Beauty Supply to look for that Tangle Tamer brush because I heard such great thing about it. When I tried it for the first time, I can definitely see a big difference in the way it feels as compared to other hair brushes. It's a lot more gentle and quite effective at brushing out the hair tangles.
Of course, I couldn't help but purchase more polishes since they had a buy 2 get 1 free sale. I picked up 3 China Glaze polishes: Sun Worshiper, Sunshine Pop, and Flying Dragon (Neon).
I also came across this handy dandy tool that I thought was interesting. Basically, what it is a tool that you use to grab your cotton ball and remove your nail polish without ruining your manicure. This is great for removing toe nail polishes or removing polishes from that one nail you messed up.
I don't remember how much I paid for these items anymore. I can't find my receipt.

That's pretty much all the latest beauty newbies I've gotten. Do you like to receive beauty products as gifts?

Bath & Body Works Haul

Before someone tells me Bath and Body works doesn't sell Philosophy soaps, let me just explain that I went to Sephora yesterday to exchange my broken bottle of Fields of Flowers which got damaged during shipping. I decided to go with a different scent and I picked Gingerbread Man. It doesn't smell manly IMO, but it's one of those scents that both male or female could use. I don't know if you've ever heard anyone mention it but it kinda smells like Pepsi, LOL.

As I gather gather my coupons for my shopping trip. I had a coupon for a free B&BW product with the purchase of $10 or more. Since I've already purchased a lot of bath products recently, I opted for B&BW skincare products. The True Blue Spa products were buy two get one free. So I ended up getting two free products. Each tube retails for $12.00 but with the promo and coupon I only paid for two.

I purchased

• True Blue Spa Apricot & White Tea face scrub
• True Blue Spa Blackberry Peel Off Face Mask. This reminded me of Boscia's Black face mask and if it works just as well, I may have to to switch to this one since it's a lot cheaper.
• True Blue Spa Peppermint Face Scrub
• True Blue Spa Super Softening Hand Lotion

I usually don't shop at B&BW much since I've been getting my soaps from Lush but I forget that they do sell skincare products and I should definitely give them a try, especially since they send me coupons often. The products that I picked smell amazing! I hope they work well too.
