I'm back...with swatches for yall! I just recently spotted these limited edition Milani Shadow Eyez at my local Walgreens. The only shade I didn't get was Black Ink. Otherwise, I got the rest of the collection. They typically retails for $6.99 each, more or less depending on where you purchase them.
Honestly, I really don't get why Milani decided to make these limited edition. I can see most people getting more use out of these neutral shades than their permanent colored Shadow Eyez.
Milani Shadow Eyez pencils are among the best that I have tried and a really great drugstore cream shadow/liner that applies smooth and creamy, pigmented, smudge-proof, budge-proof, water resistant, and crease-proof. My only complaint is that they do set fairly quick so you gotta work with them fast.
I would recommend you get them if you can before they are gone.
Espresso Line - dark chocolate brown, matte finish. I really love the smoky look I got from it when I swatched it on my eyes. I wore it all day yesterday and it did not budge or crease!
Cafe au Lait - medium brown, cool undertone, matte finish.
Golden Bronze - shimmery light golden bronze, almost metallic looking. This one is beautiful. I ended up liking it more than I anticipated.
Sand Dune - shimmery cool tone light beige. This one was a bit on the sheer side.
Almond Cream - light beige, matte finish. I'm not sure yet if I like this one on the lid and on its own as it looked a little patchy when I first tried it or it could be that I didn't blend it fast enough. If I can't use it on its own, it definitely still makes a great base. It's very pigmented and creamy. It does a good job on the waterline but looks a bit heavy. It will work great at a brow highlight too.
Have you spotted them? Will you get any of these?
