This post was supposed to be up yesterday but Friday was a tough day at work. I didn't come home early as I was hoping to. I actually ended up staying a littler later than usual so I'll get to go home early sometime next week. I started off the day by being late. Slept through my alarm. I took only 20 minutes to get ready and I looked like crap but whatever I have bigger things to worry about. I had a big headache by the time I came home so I went straight to bed and took a refreshing 3 hour nap and popped 2 Advil. Thank Goodness the weekend is here! I could use some rest and catch up on my blog posts.
I stopped by Walgreens the other day to get some water and saw a new display of Wet N Wild Fergie products. The only two things that interested me was the glitter nail polishes.
Bronze Bombshell & Summer Spritzer |
Also from Walgreens, I've been seeing a new display of SinfulShine nail colors with Gel Tech. Looked fancy and I was wondering if the formula was going to be any better than the Sinful Color ones. Curious to find out, I picked up just one shade, Alfresco. I think this was $2.99.
It's a medium periwrinkle blue with a very slight hint of purple. My camera has sometimes difficulty capturing true colors of blues.
The other one is Hue Brighten My Day, kind of an ironic name for such a dark polish. It's got silver glitters and dark green shimmers.
Lastly, also from Walgreens, I spotted the new Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez. Initially, I was only interested in the matte shades but I thought, what the heck, they are limited edition, just get them all! LOL. Ok, the only one I ended up not getting was Black Ink since black eyeshadow and eyeliners are easy to find and I'm pretty happy with the Rimmel ScandalEyes Blackmail, which I recently purchased as well so I didn't feel the need for another black shadow pencil.
If you've tried these Shadow Eyez, you know that they are simply amazing...creamy, pigmented, long-lasting, and crease-proof. Can't go wrong with any of these, especially if you love neutral eye colors.
From top to bottom: Expresso Line, Cafe au Lait, Golden Bronze, Sand Dunes, Almond Cream |
Stay tuned for swatches :)
Do you plan on getting any of these new Shadow Eyez?
Aw, sorry you're not feeling so good. I love your haul, these polishes look so pretty! I have been meaning to go to try those Sinful Shine polishes, I keep forgetting to go to the smaller drugstores.
ReplyDeleteI'm ok. Work always gets tense during the first week of the month. Thanks :)
DeleteLovely haul! The glitter nail polishes are so pretty, and I really want to try the Milani eye pencils. Can't wait for swatches! xx
ReplyDeleteI took tons of pic yesterday and just finished editing. Whew that was a lotta work.
DeleteI need all the Milani shadow pencils!I haven't tried them yet, but I know I will love them! Those are staple eyeshadow colors for me. The polishes are pretty great too! Colorful Collage looks stunning. Can't wait to see swatches! :)
ReplyDeleteI love those Milani Shadow Eyez. Check out your local drugstores see if they have them. They just recently popped up in my area.
DeleteI have been looking for the SinfulShine polishes but couldn't find them (hadn't checked Walgreens)...I'll be checking there this weekend. I'm so annoyed that my Sally's never have new Finger Paint polishes or if they get them in they must sell out quickly. Those look pretty!
ReplyDeleteI just found out that the SinfulShine are exclusive to Walgreens. The polishes are Sally can sell out fast cause they usually only have one display at a time I think. Bummer!
DeleteNice haul. I haven't been to a drugstore lately so I definitely need to get my butt to one to check out the new Milani Shadow Eyez since those are look like gorgeous neutral shades. I am going to check out your swatch post on them now.
