Eyes To Kill Makeup Look

Ahhh finally get to use one of the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill eyeshadow. The colors appear a little more tame on the pictures. It was a fun look and much more vibrant in real life.

Face
  • Wet N Wild Princess bronzer
  • Milani Illuminating Face Powder Beauty's Touch

Eyes
  • UDPP original
  • Sally Girl baked eyeshadow (light gold) all over lids and lower lash line. I applied it wet.
  • Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Blast of Blue on the crease
  • L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow Endless Pearl on browbone
  • MAC SuperSlick Liquid Eyeliner Signature Blue on upper lash line
  • Prestige Total Intensity eyeliner Fierce Blue on waterline and tightlining
  • Revlon Brow Fantasy Dark Brown on eyebrows
  • ELF Lashes
Lips
  • MAC Purple Rite
I hope you enjoy the look. What color would you pair Blast of Blue with? I couldn't think of anything else but gold, lol. So much for creativity!

New Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Polish Swatches

I picked up these two new shades from Walgreens a few days ago primarily because I have seen some gorgeous swatches of them. Ok it is just me or do you feel a little cheated when you see a gorgeous swatch picture and you run to the store to get it and when you try it out in real life it doesn't look nearly as good as the picture you saw.
Anyways, this is Freeze! and I can tell you right now that the color captured on these picture are not very accurate. My camera went nuts when I tried to capture this beauty. It is actually a lot more pretty in person. It's brighter, bluer (like an electrifying cobalt blue), and very eye catching. Has a lot of depth and dimension to it. The formula works well and dries fairly quick but I hate the brush. The brush is stiff, uneven, wide, and so is the wand. I get nail polish all over my cuticles and that's really annoying having to clean up the mess. This is opaque in two coats.

In a Flurry is a dark jelly base color with teal green and purple shimmers. It is more on the sheer side though you can achieve opacity in 3 coats. Formula is easy to work with so that makes the problem I have with the brush not such a big deal. Love the color though I wished it had more depth to it.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Precious & Honey

Hello Beautifuls,

I am back again with more of these Revlon Balm Stains because I think they are just awesome! They feel good on the lips, like a good lip balm and they add some color that leave a long lasting stain on your lips.

Revlon is definitely my favorite drugstore brand when it comes to lip color.
I have already reviewed a couple of these shades, Darling and Charm, so if you would like to read the full review and see additional swatches, make sure you check out that post HERE.

Precious is a sheer nude with a slight pink undertone to it. There is not much as far as pigmentation. I was actually hoping for more color but there isn't much there with this shade. I still like it though. It's like a my lip but better color. If you have pigmented lips, this might not do much for you aside from moisturizing and adding a bit of shine to your lips.

Honey is a mauvy rose and as you can see, there is a pretty good pigmentation on this shade. Although this is somewhat sheer, it still packs a punch as far as color goes. A lot of people recommended this shade and I can see why. I think this is a shade that looks flattering on every skintone.

Small Beauty Haul - Sephora and Nail Polishes

What is up with Luuux? I haven't been able to sign in for the past couple days?

Anyways, I was on the hunt for a couple Nails Inc Special Effects polishes that I wanted. I purchased Stratford, a shimmery pink and champagne duochrome. I also wanted Swiss Cottage but couldn't find it in store, it may be a good thing because I did find another polish that seem similar to it and just placed an order for it so I will show it to you later when I receive my order.
Stratford is supposedly the dupe for Deborah Lippmann Sugar Daddy but will cost you less. For $9.50 I still think it's pricy, considering that you get a little less product than the typical polish. This one contains 10 ml or 0.33 oz. I've seen some beautiful swatches and I felt like I can justify the price since I'm a huge fan of duochrome.

I redeemed 100 points for the Givenchy Noir Couture mascara deluxe sample. I rarely wear mascara because they really don't do much for my minuscule and ultra thin lashes but I got it mainly because it's a fancy brand, lol. The only Givenchy product that I have is the Very Irresistible perfume, which is my all time favorite fragrance. The mascara claims to volume, lengthen, curl, and nourish your lashes. I don't know if these will do anything for me but the only mascara that have been able to double the length of my lashes are the fiber mascara.

I bought the Murad Acne Complex Kit for my kids, $60.00. My son has been using this product for over a year now and I can testify that this product has saved his skin. When he reached puberty, his face was full blown with huge and cystic pimples. It was really BAD! He also had some huge blackhead and super oily skin. He initially used Clean & Clear products but that didn't really do anything for him. I wish I had taken a picture of how it was then so I can show you how it looks now. Pretty much all of his pimples are gone now. He is still pretty oily but the difference from now and then is huge. Of course, that didn't happen overnight. I think it took a couple months of use to see a change and about 6 months to see a dramatic difference. Now that I look at his face, I see no more pimple. He took very good care of his skin and used the products daily.
My daughter is having some bad break out on her forehead and nose so I suggested that she use the Murad products that have worked so well for my son. She has been mostly using the face wash for the past couple weeks and told me that she is starting to see a difference.
I don't kown if anyone has had bad luck with this brand but it worked effectively for my son.

While I was at DSW, I picked up these two nail polishes. They are always BOGO 50% off. I bought the shades Smokeshow (left) and Money To Burn (right). I probably didn't need Smokeshow but Money to Burn looked so good in the bottle.

As always, I will post swatches as soon as I can.

New Shoes...New Jewelries

I ended up going to work yesterday for half day and it's just been a crazy restless week for me. My neck is still stiff and sore. I took my kids out to lunch when I came home and we went to the mall afterward. I felt like I needed some retail therapy and wanted to use some coupons and gift card.
If you've been following me for a while you may have noticed that I have a big addiction for shoes, lol. I don't particularly shop for one that I need but I just buy whenever I see one that tickles my fancy. I have a pretty big shoe collection and just recently had to take some out because I dont wear them anymore. I'm going to donate them.
Anyways...on to my haul...

I bought these Jessica Simpson peep toe pumps from DSW. I fell in love with them instantly and when I tried them on, I loved them even more because they fit perfectly. I love how the front looks simple and classy and the back and heels is the total opposite with gold studs over black suede. The shoes feel pretty comfortable and true to size. The heels are approximately 4.5" with 1 inch hidden platform. This pair was $79 and some change, not too far off from the retail price, but lucky for me I had a $10 coupon.
Quick question, would you wear this to the office or is it too much? I'm kind of on the fence with this one but I'm leaning more toward yes, hehe.
I couldn't find these on DSW's website or any other so if you really want to get your feet in these you may have to do some research.

While I was at the mall, we stopped by Forever 21. My daughter wanted these black ankle boots. I would have preferred them much better if the heels were black too but nonetheless, it is still a cute pair of boots. $29.80.

I just had to get these cute heel sandals from Forever 21 also. They look very cute and totally different from what I normally buy but I love the fact that they look trendy and summery. I rarely buy shoes with prints but those flowers were too cute. It comes in two different colors navy/cream and navy/pink. The ones I bought are navy/pink. $24.80

Now on the the jewelries...As you can see these 3 pieces were purchased from Forever 21 also. Unfortunately, I couln't find these on their website so you may have to check if your local Forever 21 store has them if you interested in any of these piece.

  • Square studs with multi-colored rhinestones, $2.80. They are about half an inch or maybe a little more in length. Really cool and pretty earrings. For the price, you can't go wrong.

  • My daughter wanted this collar necklace, $5.80. I thought it was pretty cute too. It's got some lovely details and a few rhinestones. The chain is short so this would work best if you have a slender neck.

  • Blue and mint earrings, $5.80.  The design and color are GORGEOUS and unique! What's not to love about it? These are slightly over 3 inches long.

Yeahhhh I bought more spike bracelets, lol. The reason I bought these is because they are much bigger spikes than the ones I've bought before. One spike is 3/4 of an inch in diameter and to be honest, looks way cooler than the small spikes because it reflects more light.
This set has a gold/rose gold spikes and black/silver spikes bracelets. I bought them from ALDO for $15.00.

A couple weeks ago, I was at Macy's and bought these two pieces but totally forgot to mention about them.

  • BCBG triangular earrings with rhinestones. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for them but they were around $25.00. A little pricy but still affordable if you wanted them bad enough. I love the unique shape of it. It looks edgy. They do have a good weight to them because the metal is thick.

  • Rectangular medallion necklace, around $18.00. I saw this hanging on the clearance rack and thought the design of the medallion was beautiful.
That's it for my haul. Thanks for reading.

NOTD - Purple and Holo Glitters

Hello there,

This is what I am currently wearing on my nails and I am totally digging it so I wanted to share it with you.

  • 2 coats of China Glaze Coconut Kiss
  • 2 coats of Nabi Purple Jumbo Glitter. Freaking looove this glitter! I bought it from a vendor when I went to Italian fest. There is purple glitters and jumbo glitters and small glitters that shift from green to orange and it looks amazing! I wished the formula was a little thicker so that it would be easier for the brush to pick them up but I don't mind layering a couple times.
  • 1 coat of Out The Door Northern Lights hologram topcoat. I forgot to include it in the photo but one thing I really like about this top coat is that it dries pretty quick AND has very tiny holographic glitters in it. So say you find your nail polish a little plain or you want to add a little oomph to it without looking over the top, this will add little sparkles that's not too overwhelming.
I had such a hard time capturing the shifting colors from the holo glitters once it's on my nails but in real life they are very noticeable and much prettier. I love seeing them change colors as I move my nails, lol.
