MAC Heavenly Creature Haul and Swatches

I was looking at my blush stash the other day and actually took pictures of them because I was going to blog about them. I realized I have way too many blushes and that I will probably never hit pan on any of them in this lifetime...thinking of that kinda made me sad. I hate wasting products but I can't stop shopping either.

I went to MAC last night after work. It was one of those spur of the moment thing. In case you didn't know, that's kind of like me. I have a tendency to do things spontaneously. I kept thinking about the new collection and thought to myself that I needed to have a look at it before it's gone. Luckily, most of the products from the MAC Heavenly Creature's collection was still there except for Light Year MSF.
I took these pictures last night, right after I've purchased them. I loaded them up earlier tonight after I got home from work but I just couldn't keep my head up to write about it so I had to take a nap. Well, I just woke up a couple hours ago and couldn't go back to sleep so I figure I might as well finish this post. I have a feeling this is going to be a long night though.
The only thing that interested me about the collection was the blushes and MSF.

I picked up Center of the Universe Mineralize Skinfinish, a soft shimmery peachy color with gold shimmers. What a cute name by the way. It makes me think of the song "Lovely" by Michelle Tumes. This is actually very pigmented and shows up very well on my skin. It looks more orange than peach on my skintone. If you don't like shimmers on your cheeks then this is not for you. I personally like it. It's shimmery but not over the top. It adds a youthful dewy glow to my face. I wore it today to work and lasted pretty much all day. There was just a slight fading when I got home. This shade is probably better suited for warm skintone.

The second blush I got is Ring of Saturn, a shimmery rosy/mauvy pink with gold shimmers. This blush has shimmers that seem a bit more fine than Center of the Universe. This would look great on any skintone.

Have you checked out this collection yet?

  1. I didn't get anything from the collection because I'm not that interested in their mineralized products, but I love how they look in the pans and their names!
