Discovery World

I took my kids to the Discovery World museum yesterday, here in Milwaukee. Something to do since I am still on vacation. I have a feeling that my inbox will be overflowed with emails once I get back to work on Monday.
I think this is a pretty cool museum. I like the structure of the building and how it is located right by lake front so you also get to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

One section of the building focuses on technology such as machines, motors, bikes, cars, musical instruments and equipments, and energy. The other section of the building focuses on water and animals and fishes that live in our local lakes. There's also an aquarium with salt water fishes and other animals.

Admission for adults age 18 and above is $16.95. Children between 6-17 is $12.95 and children under 3 can get in free.

This is pretty cool. Air bubble in these long tubes filled with water spelled out the word "water".

The Art Museum of Milwaukee is located right next to the Discovery World. I took the opportunity to snap a picture of it. I've never been inside but the structure of the building itself is a work of art. If you recall, a portion of the movie Transformers Dark Side of the Moon was filmed at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
