Hello beautifuls!
I have an exciting haul to share with you. A couple weeks ago, Giorgio Armani was having a friends and family sale and when I found out about it, I jumped on the opportunity to snag these Eyes to Kill eyeshadows that I have been wanting for a long time. Because these are pretty expensive, I was patiently waiting for a sale to come through and I was able to get a 20% off discount on my entire purchase and an additional 5% cash back from Ebates. They retail for $32.00 a pot but with the discount, I paid $25.60 each.
Here are the shades that I ordered:
- Blast of Blue
- Purpura
- Pulp Fiction
I was able to get shipping for free and they came in this pretty big box. I was actually surprised there was no bubble wrap but the box was just lined with some tissues.
If you sign up for an account, you also get two free samples. I decided to sample the eye and face cream.
Secondly, I just received my first Crown Brush order today. If you follow me on Facebook, you may remember that I had posted the sale promo about a week ago. They were having 40% off the entire store and 50% off palettes. The brushes were so CHEAP!!! I couldn't pass it up.
- Pro Striper Set (for nails). Sally Beauty sale similar brushes for wayyyyyy more. Not sure if I'll get much use out of these but dang for $2.00, I thought they might come in handy when I need them. I really like the marble look on the handle. It's pretty!
- C404 Small Duo Fiber Face brush, $4.17. This would be perfect for applying highlight or with pigmented blushes.
- C405 Contour Blush, $4.49. This one reminds me of MAC 168. I don't own it but I played with it the other day when I went to MAC. The Crown brush feels very similar.
- IB128 Angle Fluff, $1.62. This is a bit on the small side but still a pretty decent size to apply eyeshadows.
- IB112 Badger Angle Brow, $1.40. I think this is a little too soft and fluffy for being a brow brush. I would prefer a stiffer and less fluffy brush to define my brows.
- IB105 Tapered Blush, $3.89. This is perfect for applying blushes. These three brushes are made with Italian badger hair. The hair feel soft, though I've had softer brushes.
- Stainless Steel Spatula, $3.00. I actually bought two. Not sure how much use I'll get out of it but I like to have things handy just in case.
Today after work, I stopped by CVS for two reasons. I had $7.50 extra care bucks I needed to redeem and get a birthday card for my boss.
I was actually pretty good and only grabbed the things that I needed! Woo hoo! Give myself a pat on the shoulder, lol.
- I got the Revlon lash adhesive. I can't remember if I tossed out my old one, it was getting old anyways. I love this so much more than DUO. I'm allergic to the DUO, my lids would swell if I wear it more than a couple hours. I don't have that problem with the Revlon lash adhesive.
- I forgot my Sephora waterproof makeup remover at my sister's place in Chicago so I figure why not try this Nuance Dual Phase Makeup Remover by Salma Hayek. It's similar to the Sephora Waterproof remover, Sonia Kashuk remover, and Lancome Bifacil. I hope this works good. It's less than $8.00.
So that's it for my haul. I hope you liked it. If you've taken advantage of the sale, let me know whatchu got.

I have the C404 and C405 brushes and I love them! The C405 brush is my favorite for blush application. I've had them for 2 years and they're still in great condition.

Which Giorgio Armani colors did you get?! I ended up getting all 4 from their supposedly limited edition collection. I'm not sure if I love them yet.
ReplyDeleteI got blast of blue, purpura, and pulp fiction. They are not LE. I haven't got the time to play with mine yet, lol.
