I'm so excited to be able to get my hands on these new L'Oreal eyeshadow shades. I'm definitely loving the texture of the formula. It looks like a powder but feels like a cream. If you didn't read my previous review, please feel free to check it out HERE. I also have swatches of 10 other shades, which were part of their first launch.
I'm probably missing one of two shades from their latest launch but that's ok because these are the ones that appealed the most to me.
I recently spotted these at my local Walgreens a couple weeks ago but were just recently on BOGO sale last week so I jumped on the opportunity.
Here are the shades I have:
- Golden Emerald - the gold shimmer is very prominent and glittery looking. The green leans a little darker than I expected. This has a lot of sparkles and shine. It may not be suitable for daytime wear.
- Bottomless Java - a dark brown color with gold and pink shimmers. This is a gorgeous shade.
- Liquid Diamond - this one totally knocked my sock off. It's one of the prettiest and most unique silver I've come across. It has a purple undertone with gold, teal, and pink shimmers that my camera just can't capture. It's very shinny and metallic. Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend you get this one.
- Smoldering Plum - this is a dark eggplant purple with pink, purple, and gold shimmers. It's very pretty.
- Glistening Garnet - this doesn't seem as pigmented as the later shades. It's a shimmery/frosty pink. The shimmers are much finer in this shadow.
- Gleaming Bronze - it's a gorgeous shimmery bronze with a strong gold sheen and olive green undertone.
Swatches from left to right: Glistening Garnet and Gleaming Bronze.
There is definitely a variation with the color and consistency in these eyeshadows. I love the creamy texture and how easy it applies.
Have you picked these up yet? Which one is your favorite?
I love that Bronze color, very cute. Is there turquoise color from this type?thanks
ReplyDeleteYes there was a turquoise or teal. I didn't get it because I have similar colors that I barely use.
