I spotted this new collection at Sally Beauty a couple weeks ago and I liked what I saw in the bottle but oh boy! I wished I had looked up some swatches and reviews before getting them. They are textured nail polishes but they have an odd texture, one I don't like. They have the texture similar to corroded metal like that of an underwater shipwreck. The formula is thick and goopy. Hard to work with and hard to get even application. I did two coats on all the swatches. I also notice that the formula dries very slowly, which drove me nuts.
Underwater Enchantress is a medium green/teal metallic shimmer textured polish.
Sailor's Lure has a soft but noticeable blue and purple duochrome with a textured metallic shimmer finish.
Sea Temptress is a pearly white shimmer with a flash of green shimmers.
Overall, this type of texture turned me off. These colors had the potential to look super pretty if there didn't come with the weird texture. I'm so disappointed.
Wow, very interesting. I love the colors of these nail polishes. The application of it reminds me of and nail polish that I bought from Deborah Lippmann which game me more of a granite look when I applied it. Very interesting.

DeleteOoooo...the blue is my favorite shade but how you describe how it was difficult to work with and how it dried so slowly makes me go 'NOPE!' not for me to try!

DeleteEww...they look horrible on the nail. Beautiful in the bottle, but definitely does not translate that way on the nail.
