Earrings and Hair Clip

Hello Lovelies,

I went to the Doc today and he diagnosed me with hip contusion, which is deep bruising and swelling. So I'm supposed to use ice packs and he prescribed me a higher dose of Ibuprofen, which doesn't seem to do anything for the pain. Right now I have an ice pack stuck on my bootie, let's see if that helps.

I wanted to post about a couple accessories that I picked up last week.
Dots earrings were BOGO 50%. These were around $6.00 each at regular price. I don't often find jewelries there that catch my eyes but these two did. It must be the way the rhinestone sparkles. It has an iridescent rainbow-like effect, going from pink, teal, and purple. Very pretty, girly, and sparkly...just how I like it, lol.

The hair clip and liners were purchased from Burlington Coat Factory. I can't remember the exact price anymore but they were around $3-$4 each. I'm a sucker for cute hair clips, even if I don't clip my hair very often.

The liners do show up a bit when I'm wearing my flats but my feet are much more comfortable when I wear them. These are well made and by a brand that focuses on comfort and quality so I think they will last me a while.

Oh No You Didn't!! Yes, I Did!

Hello Lovelies,

I did some damage at TJ Maxx on Friday when I came home from work. Couldn't help myself. Found too many cute things.

Source: Uploaded by user via Louise on Pinterest

If my bank account had a face that's exactly what it would look like, haha. Even though I don't wanna work tomorrow, I keep telling myself...Dang it, if you do the crime, you gotta do the time!

This would be me...I'm sowwie! I'll pay you back!

Anyhow! I picked up these Jessica Simpson earrings. Love the pyramid shape of it with the rhinestones in the front and back! How cool is that? They were $12.99 (originally $25), which is really not bad at all for the way it looks.

Juicy Couture is not really a brand usually check out since I feel that a lot of their things are a bit juvenile for my age; however, these bow and heart earrings stole my heart and were just too cute to pass. It looks delicate, feminine, and a little girly but something I can pull off, lol. These were $19.99 (originally $52)

These Tommy Hilfiger wedge were $34.99.  They are so comfortable. I love the sleek, sophisticated, yet casual style of it. I can't wait for spring so I can bust these out!

And the most exciting part of this haul has got to be (for me at least) this bright pink, almost neon, double pocket satchel bag from Dooney & Bourke. Original price $228 but I got it for $129.99. I feel fabulous carrying this purse, haha. It's quite roomy, feels very sturdy, durable, and well-made. It has two outside pocket with zippers outside and 4 pockets on the inside. I'm not familiar with the brand or an expert at handbag, lol, I can't tell what kind of material they used on this purse. The strap and handles appear to be leather.

If interested, I suppose you can check your TJ Maxx or other stores that carry the brand, like Macy's and Nordstrom.

Or you could check out this seller on Ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-DOONEY-BOURKE-HOT-PINK-LEATHER-DOUBLE-POCKET-SATCHEL-BAG-/151001006660?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item23285c8244

So this bag concludes my TJ Maxx haul. I decided to sign up for a TJ Maxx card, cause it saved me 10% of my total purchase.

I purchased this Lauren Conrad necklace from Khols a few weeks ago and never got around to posting it or wearing it. I used a gift card and I can't remember how much it was anymore but I know it was on sale when I got it. I'm pretty sure it was less than $12.00.

Oh and I wanted to show you a new addition to my lighting family. I got this clip on lamp from Menards for I think $5 or $6. It's pretty cheap but effective. It's about 8 inches in diameter and the aluminum bowl really magnifies the light so it's really bright! I covered them with tracing paper and used masking tape to secure them to the lamp. This time I actually cut the tracing paper in a circle so that it is more fitted. This helps diffuse the light without having to resort to a light box, which to me I find rather inconvenient and takes up space. What I love about this set up is that I can move the light wherever I want. This additional light really helps with my pictures.

I didn't forget but wanted to show it last. This little wooden block about true friendship was purchased from TJ Maxx for $3.99. True friendship is hard to find. Nowadays, people only pretend to be your friend for whatever reason or they just really don't know how to be a good friend. I know I'm far from being the "perfect friend" but one thing I always have and always will be is true to myself and others. I wished they had more of these because I sure would've picked up a couple more for my friends.

What do you think of me LED flowers? Aren't they pretty? They were from my last haul and I got them at Big Lot.

Stay tuned for my latest beauty haul...

My New Light Beige Leather Bag

Hi Lovelies,

Yesterday, I did some major damages but can you tell I'm still happy? lol. I had a date with my kids and we went to the Cheesecake Factory in honor of my son's birthday. He just turned 13.
I had a $10 coupon for DSW and since it was just across the street, I decided to check it out after we got done with lunch.

I bought a pair of shoes for my son and picked up this gorgeous bag for myself. I've been wanting a beige bag for a while. This is a very light beige color, almost white but still not quite white. I've seen some pretty ones at TJ Maxx but always talked myself out of buying them for some reason. This bag is the Audrey Brooke Rachel Satchel. The material used is genuine leather. I absolutely love everything about this bag. It's got the perfect size, gorgeous gold hardware and trimming, a strap, roomy interior with a few pockets. The style is simple but it's got sophisticated written all over it.

If a designer bag is out of your budget, there are certainly a lot of quality bags out there that won't brake the bank. This is one of them. It is sold at DSW for $119.95. Here's the link for more detail and if you, by any chance, may be interested in getting one for yourself. It also comes in black.

Spike Headband and Pearl Headband

I am so tired. Holidays, overtime, stress, and lack of sleep are kicking my butt. Do you feel as overwhelmed as I do during this time of the year? The good thing is I am getting the day off work tomorrow but I will be using that time to do some holiday shopping.

Aside from the jewelries, the last two things I grabbed from Forever 21 are these two headbands.

One of them is a faux-leather with gold spikes. The quality wasn't that great but it was pretty inexpensive and it looked so cool. I feel 10 times cooler when I wear it, lol. It's not everyday you see people wear a spike headband. I kinda feel sorry I didn't get the black and silver one now. I'll probably have to go back and get it.

The second headband was a bit higher in price but it's very well worth the price. Well, if you shop at Forever 21, you know that their jewelries/accessories range approximately from $2.00 to $16 .00.

I didn't take a picture of my face...sorry, let's just say that I looked tired as hell after a long day from work and shopping.

Have you completed your holiday shopping? Or are the last minute shopper? hehe.

New Red Purse

Hello lovelies,

I just wanted to show you a new bag that I picked up from TJ Maxx the other day. I didn't have the budget to get a fancy bag since I've been spending like crazy lately but this one looked nice to me and was affordable so I decided to pick it up. It is the Mertlot Satchel from Steve Madden, originally $88 but I got it for $39.99.

I like the shape of it. It's not too big, not too small, or too wide, and it's not too heavy. It's got a really nice red color faux leather material with gold hardware and a long strap that can be worn as cross-body. It also has an outer pocket with a zipper closure and a upper zipper closure as well. Inside the bag, there is also a couple of pockets.

The style is modern and chic, simple but not plain. You can actually still find this bag on Ebay and Amazon but I still think they sell it for too much. Your best bet would be to check your local TJ Maxx.

And last, I grabbed this pair of leg warmers from Steve Madden in grey. It's got some silver threads running through them, which is a nice touch I think. I got this from TJ Maxx for $5.99, originally $14.00.

Gotta love shopping at TJ. They always have good deals. I usually skip the clothing because I still find most of them expensive except for the clearance racks.

That's it for my haul.

Fashion Haul - New Shoes, Shirt, and Skirt

I did not want to go shopping but since my mother is in town and she hasn't been shopping in a while, she asked me to take her shopping yesterday. Yikes! What can I say...I have no self control when I see something I like, especially if I'm getting a good deal on it.

While I was inside JCPenney, I spotted these adorable nude pumps. They are the Cosmopolitan Jessica Bow Detailed Platform Pumps, and they were on sale for $24.00. I got the last pair in my size, lucky me! These looks so darn cute when I tried them on that I just had to take them home. The bow detail is such a nice add-on. This pair is available on JCPenney's website for $37.00, if you are interested, please click on the hyperlink.

Another item I bought from JC Penney is this Neon Yellow/Chartreuse sheer top. It was on sale for $10.00! I cannot wait to wear this paired with a cardigan :D.

The mint green tribal print hi-low skirt was purchased from Charlotte Russe and retails for $26.99. Everything was on BOGO 50% off. My daughter picked out a shirt and since hers was slightly cheaper than my skirt, she got hers for 50% off.

I have 2 more hauls to post so stay tuned!

My New Clutch and Earrings

Last week, I found out that Shoplately had a $10 coupon code for their anniversary and I was lucky enough to redeem it on the very last day, lol. I didn't know about this but I guess I was lucky that I decided to just browse there that day.

Day to Night Snake Envelope Clutch Green, $42.50. I've been contemplating this clutch for a while. The reason I was hesitant to get it was because I think the price is too high but since I was able to get $10 off, I decided to bite the bullet. I wish it was a little smaller but it is roomy so that's not a bad thing either. The style is quite simple. The snake prints are subtle but the color was the main attraction for me, lol. There is also a silver chain strap included with the bag, in case you feel like you need it. It has a satin lining, inner zip pocket and a couple side pockets. Looks great with a simple outfit for a pop of color.

Delicate Statement Earrings, $7.50. What can I say about these earrings. They are just lovely. Have a bit of color. Interesting yet simple design. Not too big, not too small. It has a versatility to it that I like.

That's pretty much all I got for this haul.
