Milani Lip Flash

I've had these for a while and been wanting to do a review sooner but I guess better late than never. I believe these are newly added to the Milani makeup line. One of them I bought at CVS and the other two I purchased from Cherry Culture. They retail for about $6.50. These are available in 8 shades but I only have these three.

Packaging

• It's a lip pencil, similar in size compared to NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils
• Net weight is 0.1 oz or 2.8 g

Product

• These lip pencils are pigmented, glittery, and a semi-opaque. They reminded me of MAC Dare to Wear Liplasses although not as opaque or intense and they have a glossier look to them. Although they look a bit glossy, they don't slip or slide like most lipgloss and stay put.
• They last farely well on the lips, about 3 hours
• I don't detect any scent, which is a plus.

Colors

• Flashy is a bright fuschia pink with pink glitters
• In A Flash is a light pinkish purple with pink and blue glitters
• News Flash is a deep plum with blue and pink glitters

Verdict

• If you love to dazzle your lips and want them to be the center of attention, you should give these a try because they really stand out. They are more suitable for evening makeup looks but with the lighter shades, you probably could get away for daytime. They are neither moisturizing or dry. The only con may be that they require sharpening otherwise, I think they are a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out. My rating 8/10.
