MAC Glitter and Ice Collection Haul and Swatches

If you didn't know it already, MAC holiday collection just came out yesterday. Who can keep up with these collection anyways? It's insane how often MAC comes up with a new one. Anyways, from the review and pictures that I've seen prior to the release, I didn't think I was going to get much out of it but I somehow managed to pick a few things once I saw them in person. Sometimes the pictures don't capture how the products truly looks in real life.

So here I have
  • Let's Skate Paint Pot
  • Morning Frost Paint Pot
  • Soft Sable lipstick (Frost)
  • Shimmermint mineralize eyeshadow

Let's Skate is a frosty shimmery light pink with fine fuchsia and gold glitter. It is so pretty in person and quite a unique color.

Morning Frost is a frosty shimmery light taupe.

Shimmermint is a shimmery frosty bluish mint shadow. It's quite sparkly and very pretty. I don't have any shadows like this one so I'm glad that I picked this out.

Soft Sable is a frosty silvery nude. Some may find this shade hard to pull off but it actually didn't look too bad on myself.

The overall look and feel of this collection is quite wintry, frosty, and cool-toned...which goes well with the holiday theme.

What did you think of this collection? Did you find anything you liked?

  1. Morning Frost was the only thing that interested me out of the whole collection but I resisted purchasing it because I don't more cream shadows at the moment. Soft Sable actually looks like it would be a really pretty eyeshadow!

  2. I actually really liked all three of the paint pots that came out in this collection.

  3. I rather like Morning Frost but I'm just not sure what the frostiness will do for me when I would just slap an eyeshadow over it.
