So I managed to pick a couple MAC pigments from their fall 2011 collection, even after the fact that I am not a huge fan of pigments since they are a little more difficult to apply and tend to get messy. I guess I thought they were so pretty when I swatched them, especially with a colored based underneath.
Blue Storm is a dark shimmery electric blue
Emerald Dusk is a dark silver with teal shimmers
Pure Creation is a limited edition blue cream eyeshadow. It didn't appeal much to me at first but when I added the pigments on top of it, I was like wow, I need to have this.
After shopping at the MAC counter, I, of course had to check out what's new at Sephora. I didn't want to go crazy since I have been waiting on the friends and family sale. Well, I've been eyeing this cream eyeliner for a while and decided to get it.
The Deep End is a gorgeous blue indigo color. It's quite creamy and I didn't get the opacity that I wanted on the first stroke, which was a bit of a bummer but if you take your time for another pass, you can get this color pay off. It seems to take a little longer to set also. But once it does, it is pretty long wearing and won't budge.
The only reason I was attracted to Sin-cerely Violet is because it has a gold shimmer to it. It also looked very pretty when swatched.
I went to Ulta to return the cracked OPI polish that I bought. I also had to return the Tressemme dry shampoo because after a few sprays, it just stopped working on me. I don't know if anyone has had that problem. I purchased Revlon Blue Mosaic, after drooling all over the swatches from Lyndsay, lol.
I was running low on hair spray and wanted to try this L'Oreal Elnett. I bought the smaller size just to see if I like it before committing to the full size.
I was running out of my HIWTK soap and just had to get more. Both Sexy Peel and HIWTK were my first Lush purchase and definitely my favorite Lush soaps.
To be honest, I rarely shop at Bath and Body Works nowadays since I've become addicted to Lush. However, I always seem to repurchase their handsoaps and I just freaken love the fall scented soaps and they were on sale.
From left to right: Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Creamy Pumpkin, Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Caramel Apple, and Cinnamon Raisin Cookie.
That's it for my haul. Probably won't get anything until the Sephora Friends and Family sale coming up next week. I think I'm going to be super broke after the sale.
