Hope you're having an awesome Memorial day weekend. I spotted these new Sally Hansen Jellies at CVS a few weeks ago and felt like I just had to have them. I mean it's not very often you'd come across Jellies at the drugstore and I love me some jellies for jelly sandwiches. Each cost approximately about $5.00.

I did 3 coats on each of the polishes by themselves and as you can see they are very sheer, much sheerer than I would like them to be. I really wished they were a tad more pigmented. The good thing is they are easy to work with, they don't streak and apply rather evenly, and they dry fairly quickly. I probably would use a more pigmented colored base and use these as toppers.
Yeah, it is too bad they are sooo sheer on their own but the finish is very jelly like and glossy! I would love to see the green one as a topper! And I love how you've layered the glitter bits on top, it makes their sheernest not as noticeable!
ReplyDeleteThe glitters definitely helps making them appear less sheer.
DeleteI was wondering how these would look! They're pretty but sooooo sheer.
ReplyDeleteyea a little too sheer unfortunately. A little more pigments would have been better.
DeleteThey are good for nail art but doesn't seem pigmented to be worn alone.
