I received my Yves Rocher order this weekend. I went ahead and ordered the rest of the Metalglow Cream Eyeshadows after I've had a great experience with the shade Bronze, which I reviewed HERE already. Yves Rocher has sales that seem to fluctuate every day and it was just a matter of time until I pounced on a sale. They also emailed me a $5.00 coupon so I used that toward my purchase, which helped cover for the shipping.
Yves Rocher Metalglow Cream Eyeshadows are regularly priced at $17.00 each. I got them when they were just $4.50.
All the shades on the products or packaging comes with the French label; however, the name of shades on their US website are translated in English. I will do a separate post with swatches and review.
I wanted to try a new lipstick formula so I went ahead with the Luminelle. The name of the shade is Mauve Poudre (aka Soft Purple) and it was labeled on the plastic wrapper but once you remove it, you won't know which shade you got unless you have a good memory.
I was pleased to see that as a free gift, I receive a set of the Grand Rouge in the color Rouge Vif (aka Bright Red) and Vernis Brilliance nail lacquer in Rouge Grenadine. Both with a total value of $25.00. I am a great fan of the Grand Rouge formula and if you are wanting to try any of their lipsticks, this would be the one I'd recommend. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the strong scent; Otherwise, the formula is worth raving. Pigmented, moisturizing, and light-weight.
Rouge Grenadine is the perfect nail polish match for Rouge Vif. A nice classic red polish. Although I'm not a huge fan of red nail polish, it was a nice free gift and I really love and appreciate how Yves Rocher always give you those freebies with a purchase of $10-15.
Each order also comes with free samples. Again, they throw everything in a big box without paper wrap, bubble wrap, or Styrofoam peanut and that annoys the crap out of me but oh well nothing else I can do about it but complain, lol.
Stay tuned for more hauling...
