Jane Cream Eyeshadow Polished Pewter - Swatch and Review

I was hesitant to try this cream eyeshadow yet curious at the same time. They are available in 12 shades and claim to be smudge-proof, crease-proof, and long-wearing.

  • It comes in a clear plastic tube with a doe foot applicator.
  • .14 oz or 4 g

  • Polished Pewter is a very shimmery silvery light brown.
  • It has a decent pigmentation but it dries to a frosty finish. The color sets pretty quickly so you want to work quickly as well so that you don't end up with a blotchy application. I normally use my finger to pat and blend the color to my lid.
  • I wore it for 8 hours without a primer and didn't notice any creasing but some minimal fading.

Final Thought

I wished it was a little less frosty. Overall, it lasted through most of the day without creasing and the fading was minimal so I think it's worth a try if you are interested.

Rating: 8.5/10

Price: $8.00
Availability: Ulta, Jane Cosmetics

  1. That is really pretty. I don't think the fading would bother me because I always set liquids with powder haha xx

    1. Fading is normal for makeup and as long as it's minimal im ok with that

  2. That is a very beautiful eye shadow! :o And the overall make up you combined it with is absolutely lovely!

  3. Yet again I'm in love with the cream shadows you've been picking up! So jelly of this shade, it so shimmery and lovely you really cannot have too many neutrals!

    1. Thanks. I love neutrals just as much as I love colors. Only difference is I wear neutral more often actually

  4. I like this...nice and neutral.
