If you love purple, you will love Velvet Rope. This is one of the newest addition to NYX cosmetics and recently released about a couple months ago.
Since I already did a general review on the NYX 10 Color Palette. I'm just going to jump into the description of each palettes and colors. Please refer to my previous post for additional product info. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below. For the record, the swatches below were done without a primer. Colors will appear more intense with a primer.
1. Dark violet purple with a satin finish and multicolor glitters
2. Indigo blue with a satin finish
3. Purple-ish pink with a satin finish
4. Medium dark violet with bluer undertone and satin finish
5. Medium black with fuschia glitters and shimmers
6. Shimmery dark purple with a pink sheen
7. Shimmery medium blue pink a slightly frost sheen
8. Dark purple with blue undertone and satin finish
9. Satin black
10. Pearly white shimmers with glitters and pink undertone
Again, I am not too crazy about the glitters but the color itself looks quite pretty. There isn't too much glitters in the pan but still can cause a bit of fall out. They are all pretty decently pigmented and blendable. I really love that indigo eyeshadow, I don't think I have anything quite like it in my collection. I don't know about you guys but I really love the purple shades in this palette.
