Wet N Wild ColorIcon - Silent Treatment Review + Makeup Look

I meant to post this last night but I unexpectedly passed out early. I guess I really needed to catch up on sleep. I usually dont get much sleep during the week, about 4-6 hours a day, and I make up for my lack of rest during the weekend.

Anyhoo, let's cut to the chase and talk about this awesome palette.

Eyelid color - shimmery taupe with a pinkish undertone
Crease color - matte black with specks of gold shimmer
Browbone color - shimmery light pink

What can I say...I always find myself amazed at how pigmented these WNW eyeshadows are. They are just amazing and hands down my favorite drugstore eyeshadows. Now, I tried to make these colors work together on a makeup look and I think I didn't do too bad but to be honest I didn't quite like it 100%. The browbone color was a bit sheer. The crease color gave me the most difficulty. I had a hard time to blend it. It is so pigmentated that it's hard to control the amount of product you pick up on the brush, which is why my makeup turned out a bit more dramatic than I intended.
This palette will be appealing to a lot of people because its neutral colors. I would advise be careful with the crease color if you don't want your makeup to turn out too dramatic.

On my eyes, I'm wearing the WNW Silent Treatment eyeshadows according to how it was labeled. I used Stila Smudge pot in black to line my eyes. I applied false lashes but this time on both upper and lower lash line. This is my first time using false lashes on the lower lash line and wow, I love it! I was afraid it'd look weird but it didn't. It actually looked natural, which is a nice surprise.
On my cheeks I applied MAC Dirty Plum blush with a stippling brush because the blush is so pigmented. On my lips I used WNW Perfect Pair Lip Wand in the shade 123. I guess I only have the number because the name was on the packaging.

  2. I'm definitely getting this palette when I'm off my Project Pan >.< Thanks for showing an eye look with it! I really like how you shape the shadow towards the end of your eyes and I think it gives them a more cat-like appearance. The falsies look great on you too! :)

On a side note, I found your blog when I was searching things up on google and I really love it :) Haha, what a coincidence that we started blogging around the same time!
