Tarte Friends and Family Haul

Hello beautifuls,

No long ago Tarte was having a friends and family sale, which gave you a 30% discount on all their regular priced products. I honestly didn't need anything but I have been curious about their new Maracuja Miracle foundation so with the sale, I thought it was a great opportunity to give it a try since it retails for $42.00. With the discount, I ended up paying only $29.40 for it.

What this foundation claims to do
  • Maracuja oil infused to soothe and reduce redness, inflammation, and irritation
  • anti-aging
  • moisturize
  • full coverage
  • waterproof
  • long-wearing up to 12 hours
  • Contains vitamins A, E, and C
  • Paraben-free
I picked the shade light-medium. I remember swatching this foundation at Sephora and the light shade seemed too light but now the light-medium is a bit dark for my skin tone so I guess I'm in between the two shades, which kinda sucks, and I might have to end up mixing this with a lighter foundation in order to match my skintone better.

The second item I picked simply so that I can get free shipping...lol. Do you guys do that too? Otherwise, my other reason is that I just thought this set was cute and I've never tried their cheek stains either.

This kit contains 3 mini cheek stains and a ring. It is currently on sale for $15.00 and still available if you are interested. I really like the shades in this kit, they are quite pretty. Review and swatches will be coming soon.

So that's it for this haul. Did you take advantage of the sale?

  1. I was so tempted to pick up the famous amazonian clay blushes but held myself back.... I have too much makeup :( You picked up some cool goodies though. Will look forward to read your review on the foundation as I've never seen anyone else try it. I've heard the cheek stains are really great and $15 is a good deal! After all, how often do we beauty enthusiasts run out of a makeup product? :P

    1. I'm bummed out that the foundation is a bit dark on me, I cant wear it alone. I love how cute and little the cheek stains are.
