They come with a smudger tip...I don't know about you girls but I never use these thingies. |
From left to right: Precious Gold, Deep Ocean, and Emerald Sparkle |
I purchased these eyeliners from Ulta for $5.79 each. However, I got these during a BOGO sale so the thirdone was free. The price may vary depending on where you purchase them. I believe these are newbies in the market.
I guess I got suckered into the neat packaging, colors, and the product description. It sounded like this product was going to deliver so I had high hopes for it but I was pretty disappointed when I got to try them. - The first thing I noticed is that this eyeliner tugged on my eyelid when I applied it.
- The pigmentation is not great either since the product is hard to apply. The pigmentation looks decent when I swatched them on my hand. I used a second layer on the gold eyeliner, whereas the other two I only used one layer. When you try to use them on your eyes, it's hard to get a good color payoff and I did not enjoy dragging this eyeliner on my eyelids.
- Lastly, it isn't waterproof as it claimed on the package. Once I swatched it on my hand and waited for 5 minutes, I went to the bathroom and ran my hand under cool water. When I rubbed the swatch, the color didn't stay put and faded.
The verdict: Don't buy it! Run! Don't even look at it! It's not worth the money!
I'm probably going to make a stop at Ulta sometime this week so I wanted to do this review before returning these. If you tried these eyeliners, let me know what you think of them.
