Guess who got lucky last night? LOL...I stopped by Walgreens after work because one of my reader informed me of the Wet N Wild Megalast sale, which by the way they are buy 2 get 1 free.
Little did I know that I was going to run into these new and limited edition polishes. And the best part is that it was fully stocked when I got there. I would have been happy with just 3 or 4, but I figure I might as well buy the whole collection so that I can share the swatches with you all. Crazy, isn't it. I purchased other things too but I will put them on a separate post.
So there are a few things I want to note before I get started.
- All these polishes have shimmers and fine glitters.
- They are sparkly and have a shiny metallic finish.
- The brush is a little stiff and uneven.
- The formula is slightly on the thick side but you will need two coats to achieve even and opaque coverage.
- The polishes dry fairly quick.
- They are $3.99 each for .29 oz. Hmm, if you think about it, it's like half the size of a typical nail polish. So you can consider that they are a little pricy.
A Show At The Palladium--light cool-toned metallic gold with fine gold glitters.
Grew Up In Cobalt-imore--I suppose you can call this a metallic cobalt blue.
Hog-Quartz School--Metallic lavender with fine gold glitters.
I Got A New Com-pewter--metallic chartreuse with fine gold glitters.
Penny For Your Thoughts--a metallic peachy pink with fine gold and copper glitters.
Precious Petals--a metallic fuschia with fine gold glitters.
Stay Outta My Bismuth--a metallic blue teal with fine gold glitters.
Steel The Spotlight--silvery metallic with light taupe undertone and fine gold glitters.
My favorites out of the bunch are Steel The Spotlight, Hog-Quartz School, Stay Outta My Bismuth, and Penny For Your Thoughts.
Have you gotten your hands on any of these yet? Which one would you or have you picked up?

I bought 6 of them on a blog sale...got a super good deal on them and they are brand new, never used. The 2 that I don't have are Steel The Spotlight and Penny For Your Thoughts. I love how these look on. They are also great for doing nail art. =)
