Yayyyy...I Found Some Nice Goodies At CVS (Swatches Included)

The other day CVS sent me an email with a 25% off coupon so yesterday after I got off work, I drove over to the closest CVS to see what's up. And usually, my local CVS don't always have the latest collection but I was stoked when I was able to find some of the things I have been looking for and stumbled upon other surprises.

New Limited Edition Color Tattoos for fall. They've been floating around for some time but just recently made their ways to my local CVS. I had already given up thinking I may never going to find them or when I do, they'll be gone. There are 3 new colors and they all have a matte finish but I skipped Just Beige because it looked like a concealer to me, hehe. There was only 2 of each colors on the display so you really have to hunt them down and get lucky. Fortunately, luck was on my side this time.

Matte Brown is a medium brown with a bit of a grey undertone to it. If you apply it lightly, it looks like a taupe color but if you layer it to build up the intensity, it starts to look more brown.

Nude Pink is a light nude with pink and cool undertone.

On both shade the pigmentation is good and buildable. I find them a little creamier than the permanent Color Tattoo, which is nice.

Maybelline Color Show Crushed Crimson is also a new and limited edition nail polish. Again, luck was on my side. The display only had 2! It looks quite stunning in the bottle. Stay tuned for swatches.

Hypnautical, Scale Up, Sparkling Water

New Sally Hansen Triple Shine nail polishes. The new bottle shape and glittery ones caught my attention like a magnet. Of course I had to grab some to try hehe. They were about $5 each so, not a bad deal. Swatches are in the work and will be coming soon.

And I came across a fully stocked display of the new Revlon Lacquer Balms and Matte Balms. Wow there are a lot of new colors! Don't know if they are limited edition because it didn't say so on the packaging. A review and more swatches to come in the next few days but here's a sneak peak for you.

This haul was a success for me. Mainly because I got lucky on those limited edition shades, found some new goodies I wasn't expecting to find, and got to use a coupon for my entire purchase.

Hope your weekend is going great!

    1. I wonder how much they will be on Ebay. I just hate how they usually sell for twice or even 3 times the regular price. I don't think it's worth that much though

    2. Yes, and the shipping to my country is horrendous, unfortunately. When I order something from the US, I consider it a treat. :)

    3. Awwww, the previous color tattoos I had started drying out on me after 6 months. If you plan on using them often then they are nice to have.

  5. Ohhh really nice haul!! I like how they've brought out matte colour tattoos, because I usually find it hard to get good pigmentation out of matte shadows. Those Sally Hansen nail polishes are sooo pretty! I love all the NP that you buy :) xx

    1. I agree. Matte eyeshadows often need a good base in order to work well. I should probably go on a nail polish spending ban but I just can't control myself.

    1. I almost didn't see them!!! They were placed on the lower corner of the Milani stand! I circled the area 3 times before I noticed them. I'm so glad I did but still, they could've displayed them better.
