Target Deals! Featuring Boots No7 + Swatches

Hello Beauties,

I wanted to post this ASAP so that you don't miss out on this deal. I went to Target today to pick up a gift for my niece and of course I swung by the Beauty isle to see what's up. Well, pretty much everything that I picked up for myself were on clearance, lol, I left the red tag as proof.

This watch was on clearance for $19.98 and to be honest it's not the best quality but I really liked the color and how the band wraps around the wrist. I wished the band was a bit longer because I have a chunky wrist, lol.

Anyhow, I found a lot of Boots No7 makeup on clearance and I'm not sure if they are making room for new products but I thought I let you guys know about it in case you want to check out if your local Target has them on clearance too. I've always wondered about these products but never heard anyone review them so that always discouraged me but seeing that they significantly dropped in prices, I seized the opportunity to snag a few products.

I picked up two Stay Perfect Perfection Continue eyeshadow palette. On the left is Renaissance and on the right is Organza. They were both on clearance for $3.98 (originally $7.99)

I swatched the eyeshadows without primer. They are rather sheer and lack in pigmentation. Ehh nothing to write home about. I think you can skip these. Unless you still want to give them a try anyways.

Now the lipsticks are a different story. I would definitely recommend you pick out a few of these. They were originally $9.99, which is a bit pricey for a drugstore lippie, but I got them on clearance for $2.98 each. I can't give you a detail review at the moment so this is just going to be a first impression type of deal.

  • Boots No7 Stay Perfect Perfection Continue lipstick Velvet Kiss. I found this lipstick to be very pigmented and feels soft and velvety. Velvet Kiss is a lovely burgundy color with a bit more brown undertone to it and a frosty finish. In spite of how smooth and pigmented it applies within one swipe, the formula will enhance any dryness or flakiness you have on  your lips. It feels very nice when you first apply it but I don't think this will offer much hydration. I couldn't detect any scent on this one, which I really don't mind at all.

  • Boots No7 Wild Volume Caramel Kiss. I don't know if this is supposed to plump your lips, as the name implies, but I did not feel any tingly sensation or notice an increased in volume when I tried it on. Caramel Kiss is a very lovely brown pink with a creme finish. The pigmentation was excellent and formula applies really creamy and smooth. I'm very impressed with the way the formula feels. It's comfortable and hydrating. Did not emphasize dryness. It's comparable to some of my high-end lipsticks. It has a subtle sweet delectable scent.

  • Boots No7 Moisture Drench Hydration Complete Mocha. I wouldn't think of mocha when I look at this shade, this is more of a terracota color to me. It's got a good balance between orange and brown.     This one is also very pigmented, creamy, and also feels quite hydrating. I didn't detect any scent on this one.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the formulation of these lipsticks. They really pack a punch in pigmentation and applies very smoothly on the first pass. The formula feels very high quality to me and definitely better than your average drugstore lipstick. Velvet Kiss may be the only one that lack in hydration between these three but there is still something about how smooth and soft it feels that makes it forgivable. I really wished I could get my hands on other of their cosmetics but there wasn't much left on the shelf. I would definitely recommend you grab the lippies. They really do feel amazing.

Will you hunt these down after seeing the swatches?

  1. I really like the Boots Lipsticks by Poppy King, I guess their clearing it out because they reformulated their entire line.

  2. I'm liking all the red stickers pasted on those items lol. I've never really tried boots no7 products because I just happen to not trust their items. I do like the pigmentation of their lipsticks from your swatches though.

  3. Oh the lipstick colors look great on you! I saw my Target had Boots for clearance too, but I arrived with only a few products remaining, so I didn't get a chance to loot as well. But Boots just arrived at Walgreens online, so I might try some of their products soon! :)

  6. All of those look amazing on you, but especially the Velvet Kiss! I've never tried Boots before for the same reason--lack of reviews. The shadows look kind of bleh.

The watch is pretty too! Love that turquoise and the wrap style.

    1. I love the color of velvet kiss. I have to really scrub any dryness out of my lips before I can use it.

    1. They were only sold at Target but now are making their way to Walgreens and there's not many reviews about them so I'm not surprised you never heard of these.
