I purchased these liners from Cherry Culture during their 40% off sale. They were originally $4.50 each but I paid $2.70.
Packaging
- I like the fact that it is retractable so no need to sharpen it or waste product. However, it can be difficult to create fine lines with these.
- The color of the packaging represent the color of the liner
- Net weight is 0.01 oz or 0.31 g
Colors
- There is 18 colors available but I only picked 4.
- Bronze is rather a dark brown with pink shimmers
- Silky Cashmere is shimmery champagne
- Aqua Green is shimmery light teal
- Gypsy Blue is a shimmeryy dark teal. This color is absolutely gorgeous!
Product
- When I first swatched them on my hand, I thought hmm looks good! It seemed pretty pigmented. However, it does not translate the same way when applied on the eyes. Ughhh, yeah I was feeling disappointed. I wished the formula was a bit creamier. It dragged a bit on my skin as I lined my eyes, which is the feeling I find annoys me. It's probably not the worst I ever tried but drier than I personally would prefer.
- Because the formula doesn't apply as smoothly as I'd like and I'll have to do a second pass in order to get a better pigmentation.
- The product claims to be waterproof but I don't agree with that. It is water resistant, that I'll say but it does eventually rub off with water.
- One thing, I like is that it wears well once it's on. Stays put all day and doesn't budge.
Conclusion
In spite of the fact that it dragged a bit on my skin during application, it is still workable. It's not waterproof like it claims to be. The good news is that it wears well and last all day. Price is pretty cheap and cheaper when on sale. I highly recommend Gypsy Blue! The color is amazing! My rating is 7/10.
What do you think? Will you give these a try?
Awww what a disappointment! They look so pretty too! I don't suppose microwaving them for a few seconds would help with the application lol.

ReplyDeleteThe closest eyeshadow color that I have that is close to gypsy blue is one of the eyeshadow from the Estee Lauder Blue Dalia palette. It's slightly more blue. http://xxxbeautyredefinedxxx.blogspot.com/2010/10/estee-lauder-blue-dahlia-eyeshadow.html
