New Pure Ice Glitters and Swatches

My local Wal-Mart has a new display of Pure Ice polishes and I was like all over it, lol. In spite of that, I only found 3 that I feel I had to have.

Private Show

Private Show is dark jelly base polish with tons of small blue, pink, and light green glitters. I did 2 coats and added a top coat for the swatches. I didn't really need this polish but I wanted to compare it to Butter London The Black Knight, which is significantly more expensive. If you look further down on the side by side swatch, they are both dead on dupes. The formula felt also very similar on both. Patchy and uneven on the first coat but looks perfect on the second coat. So if you have been lemming for The Black Knight, pick Private Show because it's only $1.99!

Over You

Over You has a clear base, slightly on the thick side but very easy to work with and packs a punch of lavender and holographic teal glitters. Some of the teal glitters are bar glitters.  I did two coats with a top coat and as you can see it covers my nails very well. This is super blingy but gorgeous!!

Watch Me Go

Yeahhh Watch Me Go head over heels for this polish. There is a mix of very fine blue and green glitters in a clear base which was a bit thin. At a glance it looks teal but when you look closely, you can distinguish there two different color glitters. So it was rather sheer but I was able to build up opacity in 3 coats, which isn't too bad. Add a top coat over it and WOW, it looks mesmerizing. I love the depth it has.

Definitely check out their new nail colors if you haven't done so already! They are so cheap and pretty, it's almost a crime not to check them out, haha.

  1. I can't believe how similar Private Show is to Black Knight, I was about to get it at Walmart recently and wanted to wait for swatches - so now I'm definitely picking it up, as well as Over You that one is WOW! :)

  2. I think Over you & Watch me go are both lovely! I cannot believe how similar the first one is to black knight - I don't think I've ever seen a multi color dupe that close. Great bottle pictures!

    1. Thank you. Love all these polishes. I think Pure Ice is a pretty good and affordable brand. I like them much better than Sinful Colors.

  3. I never tried Pure Ice before but looking at those swatches and bottle shots is making me want to go out and get both Private Snow and Watch Me Go! I wonder if Pure Ice is sold anywhere else near me, besides WalMart since the closest WalMart to me is a bit of a drive. If I do end up driving down there, lets hope that these polishes will be worth it. LOL

    1. They will be worth the trip girl :D. Walgreens sells Pure Ice too but I'm not sure if these new shades are exclusive to Wal-Mart.

  4. So, I'm not a glitter lover due to how hard it is to get off...BUT, I just bought OPI's "Witch is Which" and I'm in LOVE! I'm wearing it right now. I have other glitter polishes, but this one really makes my heart sing for some reason and I think I may start wearing more glitters. I'm loving these Pure Ice glitters. They look beautiful. I love Pure Ice polishes because the price is right and they make some really pretty colors.

    1. I didn't start really getting into glitters until this past year. I also really like the Pure Ice nail polishes. They are very affordable, have a good range of colors, and applies just as good as the more expensive polishes. I'm glad you are enjoying Which is Witch. It's a gorgeous glitter.

  5. I bought private show a few weeks ago and I'm completely in love!!

What top coat do you use anyway? I've been using Poshe but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
