Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Haul and Swatches

Yeah baby! That's right! I am the proud new owner of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. Frankly, I didn't think that I was going to get it this soon because I was actually waiting for it to go on sale since I already have Naked and Naked 2 in my arsenal. But a little surprise came my way a couple weeks ago. I was gifted a bouquet of pink tulips and a $50 gift card for employee appreciation day. Completely took me by surprise because I wasn't expecting my lovely co-workers to pull this off. They all ganged up in my cubicle and I was looking at them like, is there something wrong? And they just said "surprise!" LOL. It really made my day.
The gift card was for Macy's so after thinking about it for a while, I decided to use it toward the Naked 3 palette. So if any of my co-workers are reading this post, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart again for making this possible. Every time I use this palette, I will be reminded of your thoughtfulness.

I found inside the Naked 3 box, a free sample of their eyeshadow primers (Original, Sin, Eden, and Anti-Aging). The only one I haven't tried yet is the anti-aging.

Another freebie, I got from ordering is a mini sample of the Naked Lipgloss in the shade Naked. It's very sheer and nude with some subtle shimmers. I tried it the other day and it has a nice consistency. Not too thick or too thin, non-sticky, comfortable, and last about 3 hours.

I also received a free deluxe sample of Diorshow mascara and Marc Jacobs Dot perfume sample. It smells just fresh and lovely. I think I like it more than the Daisy perfume. It has just a wee bit more fruity notes, which makes it more interesting in my opinion.

I like that they went with a similar packaging as Naked 2. Naked 3's packaging has rosy nude color and crinkled appearance. It houses 12 different shades of rose tone nudes, a wide mirror, and a double-ended brush.

And behold, now the swatches! I am feeling lazy...can I just let the pictures do the talking? I'm sure you've already seen hundreds of pictures and when through several reviews of this palette so to spare you from repeating what others have already said, I really don't have much more to add. All the Naked palettes have beautiful colors and quality eyeshadows that are worth every dollar.

So which one is your favorite nude palette?

  1. yay! im glad you got it! i was surprised on how much i love this palette specially since people kept saying it would only work with pale skin tones. I think it works so well with people with brown or darker eye colors :)

    1. It's definitely fun to have all three, especially since I know they are great quality and they are shades that I can wear daily if I wanted to.

  3. This palette is just really toooo pretty. I know all the shades will be loved and I'm so glad there aren't like 2 or 3 cream highlight type shades in this palette like the others had! I haven't got it yet but really want to soon!

  4. Wow, what beautiful colors! No matter how many swatches I see, I'm still impressed. I just got Naked 2 and love it--I think I got a sample of that lip gloss also and I really like it.

    1. Yes the gloss is nice. I just wished I had a more pigmented color. This is too sheer but oh well...it's free.
