Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Swatches

I guess I can say that Summer is officially over for us Wisconsinites.  The air has been getting cooler and the leaves are already transitioning into fall colors. **Sniff** Sad how summer ended so quickly. With that said, the sun has been setting sooner, which means that my only time to do nail swatches would be on the weekends, that is if I am not busy doing something else.

Plume is supposedly the Chanel Peridot dupe like everyone's been saying but as I recall, Peridot had a stronger duochrome. The color flashes from antique gold to green but the gold is clearly more predominant. It applied sheer so I needed 3 coats for opaque coverage. The formula was very easy to work with and the brush was perfect. The finish is metallic and may be a deal breaker for some since it does tend to show the brush strokes. I personally don't mind it.

I honestly don't know if Copperhead was supposed to be a duochrome but I really can't confirm that it is. To me it looks like a dark reddish copper with a bronze shimmer running through it. It looks pretty, metallic, and very fall-ish. The formula was excellent. I was able to reach opaque and even coverage within two coats.

Lava has got to be my favorite from this collection. It is stunning and reminds me of a sunset! The duochrome is very strong and the shade shifting looks amazing! I quickly fell in love with this one. At first, I thought it reminded me of MAC Bad Fairy. Bad Fairy is very similar only darker. The shade shifts from a bright pink to fuchsia and orange. The formula was sheer but I was able to reach a decent coverage with 3 coats and the finish is a foil metallic. This would be the shade I'd recommend from this collection. It is more unique and the duochrome is much better. The other shades were deja vu. I am compelled to exchange Copperhead for another Lava for back up.

Have you picked up any shades from this collection? Which one is your favorite?
