Holiday Makeup Look - Gold and Burgundy

Merry Christmas my lovely readers! Hope you are having a great one!
So if you got a chance to see the previous makeup look, I was trying to avoid doing a gold/red combo. One of my follower, Cynthia, requested that I do one anyways because everyone's look is different. Now that I think of it, she is absolutely right.
After I finished my eye makeup, I actually tried out a few reds and found they clashed with the burgundy eyeshadow that I used. Luckily, I found a red combo that worked beautifuly with this look and I think you'll like it if you find that you are having trouble pulling off reds because it's more toned down.
So here is my own spin...

Face
  • Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear bronzer
  • MAC On A Mission Powder Blush
Eyes
  • I applied UDPP original all over my lids
  • I started off with the highlight color on my browbone. I used M04 from the Coastal Scent's Fall Festival palette.
  • I used a combination of ME15 (Fall Festival palette) and a Real Drama (MAC Intriguing Scarlet palette) on the crease and outter V.
  • I applied MAC Treasure Hunt paint pot (I forgot to take a picture of it) all over my lids and used a MAC gold pigment on top of it. I don't know the name of the pigment. I was part of a set my sister bought and I just scooped a little bit of it for myself. It's very a very bright glizy gold. Kinda fell all over my face.
  • I lined the upper lash line with Physicians Formula Eye Booster Ultra Black, creating a heavier winged liner
  • I lined the inner lower lash line with Milani Liquif'Eye Gold and the outter lower lash line with Stila Smudge Pot Black.
  • I added ELF Natural False Lashes
  • I filled my brows with Milani Easy Brow Dark Brown
Lips
Hope you enjoyed this look. What kind of look are you rocking for the holidays?

    1. Thank you. The funny thing is this wasn't a product review post.
