Swatches - Color Club Winter Affair 2012

Hello Beautiful,

Today, I present to you swatches from Color Club holiday 2012 collection. There are a few more from this collection but I didn't feel like I needed them so I only picked these 3. They are currently available at Sally Beauty Supply.

  • Berry and Bright, I think they nailed it with the name. This is a bright berry red shimmery foil color with a berry scent to it. You may not have noticed it but it also has little specks of blue shimmers. This polish was opaque in just one coat. I find the formula fairly easy to work with. I am usually not a fan of red polishes but this one has a beautiful finish and looks festive, which is perfect for the holidays.

  • Ho-Ho-Holly is a gorgeous green, teal, and gold shimmer foil intertwined in this one polish. I did two coats for the swatches. Formula was easy to work with. I can't be too sure of the scent but it kinda smell like peppermint to me.

  • Glitter Wonderland smells delicious! It smells like caramel candy. This is a purple shimmer foil with microscopic blue and pink glitters. This one was slightly more sheer that the first two, so I needed 3 coats in order for it to look opaque.

What do you think? Love it or leave it? I guess perhaps not everyone will like this type of finish but I find them quite fitting for the holidays and I love how nice they smell.
