Hello Beautifuls,
Today, I'm going to show you some swatches and tell you a bit of what I think about these Milani Haute Flash Shimmer Glosses. I don't wear glittery/shimmery glosses on typical days so I have not tested on how long they last and how they perform after a few hours.
The shimmers are really out there so some of you may not like that aspect. I think these are more suitable for parties and evenings or if you just want your lips to get noticed, you can certainly sport these anytime.
- Golden Flash - bronzy lip color with pink and gold shimmers. To me, this is semi-opaque as you can still see how the natural colors of my lips made this gloss look a bit more pink.
- In A Flash - dark berry/fuchsia with pink and purple shimmers. This one stains a bit and is a dead on dupe for MAC Dare To Wear Ban This, so I honestly did not need this since I have the MAC version of it. They both smell very much the same too.
The texture of these lipglosses were on the thicker side. There is a little tackiness to them but they do apply very smoothly and you won't feel any grittiness from the shimmers. These also have a pleasant vanilla scent to them.
Overall, these are nice. I probably won't get much wear out of them but they will come in handy for certain looks.
I'm not a lip gloss girl, but every time I'm at the drugstore I look at these. There's something about the packaging, I think they're the prettiest looking lip glosses from the drugstore.
ReplyDeleteIn a Flash is so pretty!
ahh yes the packaging is what really drew me in too!
DeleteI've the OCC lip tar in Hoochie and I feel like the purple lip gloss would look lovely on top...
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty pigmented on its own but I guess double the fun wouldn't hurt either :D
DeleteThose are really pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes, they are fun to have.
Deletethey remind me so much of glosses from tony and tina, my first high end purchase!
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with that brand. :(
