Sephora + Pantone Parachute Purple Swatches
Hello there,
I have been busy running errands after work for the past couple days that whenever I was settled and getting ready to type my next post, I ended up dozing off halfway through it, lol. Please excuse my sleepiness.
I am back again with another nail polish swatch. This is Parachute Purple from Sephora + Pantone. The color is a blueish purple with teal shimmers. Not really a true duochrome. The shimmers are a bit more toned down on the nails as compared to how it looks in the bottle and that may be due to the thicker and more opaque consistency of the formula. It's nearly opaque on the first coat but a bit blotchy so you would need two coats to even out the application. It also dries fairly quick.
The brush is alright. It's medium size, oval shaped, but doesn't splay much. Would have been nicer if it had a bit more flexibility to it.
I'm kind of on the fence with this polish. I like it but I don't love it, primarily because the shimmers don't show up as much as I would like. The application could be better but I can work with it. I don't really like the packaging. There is a lot of glass that I don't need and there is only 11 ml or .37 oz.I can't remember how much I paid for it but on Sephora's website, this is $5.00 a pot. Unfortunately, I don't see this particular shade on Sephora's website anymore so I'm guessing perhaps that is discontinued but you may still be able to find it in store if they haven't sold out.
