Since Motives sent me a bit of everything for review and I had enough products to do a FOTD look, I decided to incorporate the products in a makeup look and so I came up with this fun look. It's not overly dramatic. I like the soft color on the lids and a pop of bright blue liner on the lower lash line. I feel that it makes me eyes look brighter and more awake. It's a very fun and simple look. I hyperlinked products I have swatched and reviewed if you are interested in reading more about them.
- Motives Custom Blend Foundation
- Motives Pressed Blush Porcelain Doll
- Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronzer
- UDPP Original
- Motives Pressed Eyeshadow Fantasy (all over lids)
- Motives Pressed Blush Porcelain Doll (on crease)
- Motives Luxe Precision Eyeliner Jet Black
- Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Khol Kajal Light Blue
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil Clash
- ELF Eyebrow Kit
What I think about the brand overall...
I had a pleasant experience with the products that Motives sent me. Price-wise, they are mid-range, which still makes them affordable. Their packaging are simple, practical, and durable. In terms of quality, they do deliver and their products have a high-end feel and quality to them. My reviews are honest and I expressed what I liked about the product, as well as what I think could be improved.
My favorites are no doubt the Rich Formula Lipsticks, the Nail Lacquer, and the Custom Blend Foundation.
