theBalm Nude'tude Eyeshadow Palette - Review & Swatches

I apologize for taking so long to get to this review. I purchased this palette on Hautelook back in December and I was able to get the Nude'tude palette for $18.00 if I remember correctly. The retail price is $36.00.
I have a lot of nude colors but considerating that I've never tried this brand before and I was able to get it for a pretty good deal, I jumped on the opportunity.

Packaging
  • Made out of sturdy cardboard paper
  • The palette is sleek and about the same size as the UD Naked palette, however the shadows are smaller, thus less product.
  • 12 nude/earthy shades with different finishes from matte to shimmer and pearly.
  • Net weight is .382 oz or 11.08 g
  • Large long mirror and dual ended brush included. I'm not very impressed with the brush but the angled liner side comes in handy.
  • The palette gets dirty easily with the minor fall out from the eyeshadows.
  • I'm not too crazy about the nude ladies in the packaging but I guess they are trying to keep the design in theme with the product name.

Formula
  • The mattes in this palette are actually pretty pigmented and easy to work with.
  • The shimmery shades were also pigmented, smooth, and so easy to blend.
  • Snobby was my least favorite out of the bunch. It was less pigmented and just didn't feel as smooth and didn't have the same quality as the others for some reason.
  • Sexy was the main stand out for me because I don't own a matte burgundy shade like this one. The rest can be easily duped.
  • With a good base or primer, these will last all day. After 10 hours, they look almost as good as when I just put them on in the morning.

Final Thought

Overall, the majority of these eyeshadow had a nice consistency and pigmentation. There is a noticeable quality to them. I love the fact that they were easy to work with and blend. I probably wouldn't pay the full price for this palette since most of these eyeshadow colors can be duped for cheaper. It's a great palette to have nonetheless. I love the fact that there are different types of finishes and these colors can certainly be used together to create a soft daytime look to a sultry night time look.
My rating 9.5/10.
