I figured that since I'm going to pair these two together, I might as well swatch them together. Lavender Cloud is not something I went out of my way to find but I happened to find it at Walgreens in the clearance bins. And since I also had a $1 coupon, I figured, eh why not. It looks like a white creme polish but with a very slight hint of lavender. I'm not sure if you can see that in the picture because it's quite subtle.
The polish was streaky and a bit tricky to work with but with 3 coats, I was able to minimize the looks of the streaks.
I love how the flakies look in the bottle. They look like broken opalescent stained glass. Unfortunately, the application was not the easiest. These colors remind me of China Glaze Snow Globe.
Here I have it layered on top of Lavender cloud. Honestly, it looks better in person because the flakies reflect the light more. The major problem I have is that the clear base is very thick and the flakies don't wanna lay flat so moving them around where I want them was a pain.
When you look up close it doesn't look so pretty but give it a little bit of distance and I quite like the sparkling effects of the flakies in spite of the trouble I had with the application.
