Wet N Wild Eggplant Frost

I grabbed this Wet N Wild polish at Walgreens the other day. It was 99 cents and just cause I liked how it looked in the bottle.

Eggplant Frost is a reddish purple with a vibrant blue sheen to it. The formula is fairly saturated, not too thick or thin, but applied rather patchy so I needed 3 coats to cover up the bald spots. As I build up the layers, the color looks deeper and the blue sheen also appeared stronger. It's a pretty interesting color but I would recommend waiting for the polish to dry between layers to ensure a smoother look as it can pull and create bald spots in some areas if the polish is still wet. Not too shabby for 99 cents but personally I don't mind paying a little more for a better formula.

I've got more nail polish spam coming up so stay tuned.

  1. If I can remember correctly, I don't like this Wet 'N Wild brush...this is a really vivid and pretty color though.

    1. The brush was ok. The formula could be better though.

  2. The formula could be better...in a pinch it's okay but if I have the $$ I'd rather pay more for a better formula.

    1. yeah same here. I get very impatient with nails. This polish dries kinda slow too.
