My New Obsession - Fruits & Maple Oatmeal

Yes, this have been my new obsession and funny that it's not a beauty product but something quite delicious. I was introduced to this McDonald's fruit & maple oatmeal by my friend/co-worker, Celia, who treated me with one a couple weeks ago. She's such a sweet heart! She's always offering me some treats...Love that girl.

Anyways, ever since my first try, I haven't been able to get it off my mind, LOL...Yeahhh that's crazy but true, LOL. I feel like I have to have one every day.

Here's what's inside:
  • fresh apple
  • raisins
  • cranberries
  • brown sugar
  • whole grains oats
  • 290 calories, 4.5 g of fat, 57 g carbohydrates, 5 g protein, 160 mg sodium

Ok, so I'm no dietary expert. On the side note, I rarely eat breakfast at McDonald or even breakfast at home, so I probably wouldn't have tried these if my friend didn't get me some. I love the warm, creamy texture of this oatmeal. It's not too sweet, which is great because I can't stand overly sweet food. The fruits add so much yummy flavor, it's awesome!
This may look like a little bowl but don't let that fool you. It's very satisfying and filling.
Not sure if price varies at every McDonalds but last time I bought some, it cost me $1.99 and they serve it all day.

So if you haven't tried these yet, you must! If you did, tell me what you think of it. Do you love it as much as I do?

  2. When I first tried the McDs Oatmeal, I was pretty much obsessed too. I think I ate it everyday for a week, LOL! But now I'm hooked on the Perfect Oatmeal from Starbucks, which has less fat and calories per serving. It's more expensive though, of course. Boo...

  3. ok i did some research and i spoke too soon about the calorie content of the Starbucks Oatmeal, lol. It seems like once you add the fruit, sugar and nuts to it, it's the same as the McDs or more. Oh well, pick your poison! haha.
