April MyGlam Bag

When I got back from my trip, I found in my mail box that I had received the new MyGlam bag for this month.

What I received:
  • A metallic makeup bag. The quality of it is pretty mediocre and I would prefer to receive another makeup product in place of it. I certainly do not need a monthly bag.
  • One shader brush and one angled liner brush. They both have the MyGlam logo stamped on it. The quality of the brush seems pretty decent.
  • The Dermstore Lip Quench. I don't get why we get another lip treatment when we were already sent one last month.
  • Eyelashes. They look nice and natural, which I like.
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Junkie. This is not a full size liner but you still get a decent amount of product. I haven't swatched it yet but from the looks of it, it looked a lot like my MAC Pearlglide Undercurrent. I may have to do a dupe comparisson.

I liked what I received but I still feel underwhelmed. I mean there wasn't anything that got me very excited. What are your thoughts on the MyGlam bags? Have you canceled already?

  1. I hear people aren't very happy with the MyGlam bags lately. I'm kind of glad I didn't subscribe.

  2. I never did end up subscribing. I'm kinda glad I didn't because Birchbox has been stepping up it's samples this year and it's the same price as My Glam.

  3. I'm also glad I didn't subscribe to MyGlam. I feel like they tricked people because the first bag was full of awesome full sized products from well known brands. But lately the bags look quite cheap and there isn't anything exciting. I've been very happy with Birchbox so far and I truly like their company as a whole. Are you still subscribed to Birchbox?

    1. Yeah we've been tricked. I've never subscribed to Birchbox but now I kinda want to.
