I apologize for the lack of creativity with the title, lol. I just couldn't think of what to call this manicure. So it is what it is...Glitters and Triangles.
I wanted to use the new stamping plate that I just recently bought so today I did a bit of experimenting with it and came up with this combo. If you would like to see pictures of the plate I used for this design, please click HERE.
What I'm wearing:
- 1 coat of Milani Smooth Base Coat
- 2 coats of Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink
- Konad special nail polish white, used with the stamping design.
- 1 coat of Seche Vite
Not too shabby for my first full nail stamping manicure. The double lines are obvious when you look close but from an arm distance, it's not noticeable. If you want to wear glitters but are afraid of your nails looking like a disco ball, adding a matte colored design will help tone down the sparkles. In this case, they are just peeping through and don't look too obvious.
This mani looks very cute and fun and the picture really doesn't do it justice.
And for the base color, in case you were wondering how it looks on its own, it's just a lovely fuchsia, magenta, blue, gold, and pink glitters in a clear base. On the swatches, I have 3 coats and one coat of Seche Vite.

DeleteI have that nail polish, but no stamping art kit thingies. I think the end result turned out perfectly fine! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Huda. It's more work but can be worth the effort cause you'll have cool looking designs on your nails :D
