I was diagnosed with corneal ulcer this afternoon which can be caused by infection and usage of contact lenses. IDK, I've been around a lot of sick people lately so I guess that doesn't help either. My doctor advised me not to wear my contacts until my eye gets better. She also advised that I get my eyes checked with an ophthalmologist to make sure there is nothing else wrong with my eye. **Sighhhh ** Let's hope there is nothing else wrong with my eye. I'm already blind enough as it is.
Other than that, I've hauled these items from Walgreens a few days ago. Excuse my lack of posts and comments within the past few days. I have been feeling exhausted lately and hitting the sack earlier than usual.
Maybelline Color Tattoos are on sale this week for BOGO 50% off. I sure didn't need this but I felt like I had to get these.
Audacious Asphalt is a shimmery grey and Tough as Taupe is a matte taupe color. I've already reviewed the previous 4 color tattoos I've previously purchased in this post.
You have no idea how thrilled I was when I came across more of the new Milani Jewel FX nail polishes. This color is called Hot Pink and it has large fuchsia, silver, and holographic glitters. Love it!
When I saw Gems, I was like wait a minute, this does not look like the Gems that I had. Yep, they did it again. There is a slight variation between the old Gems and the new Gems. As you can see from the side by side picture.
The old Gems (left) and new Gems (right). The new Gems has more pink glitters in it and so far I didn't notice the green tint to the clear base like the old Gems. Beats me why in the world did they rename it the same. I had the same situation with Red Sparkles, I bought the new version and didn't know it was the new version, lol, because I had never owned the older version.
Swatches from left to right: Gems (old version), Gems (new version), and Hot Pink. If you've looked at my previous posts which compares multi-colored glitters, they may look different in the bottle but once swatched on your fingers, the difference is barely noticeable.

ReplyDeleteI love what you got. Audacious Asphalt and Tough as Taupe look like nice colors! I also got some of the tattoos, but not these ones. I might end up getting them now. Love how the taupe is matte.
Out of all the polishes, I absolutely LOVE Hot Pink. How gorgeous is that?? Jealous! I must keep an eye out for this.

DeleteYeah, my son had pink eye last week. On top of that, a lot of the people I work with are sick so god knows what's going around.

We shall see how my eye heals in the next few days. I've been finding the new Milani product sparingly between CVS, Kmart, and Walgreens.
