Hauling From Chicago + OOTD

I went to Chicago this past weekend and while I was there, we went to Woodfield mall. I wished I had more time for shopping because I wasted a little too much time in a couple stores.

The other day when I was getting ready for work, I realized that I had way too many heels and on days I don't feel like wearing heels, I don't really have cute flat sandals to match with my outfits. With that said, I'm taking a break from buying heels and getting some flat sandals instead.

Bakers were having a BOGO 50% off sale on everything in the store. The first sandals that really caught my eyes were the colorful one with the beads. My daughter happen to really like them too so I let her pick that one for herself. I had some trouble getting the sandals that I wanted because the first 3 that I ask, they didn't have my size. So finally, I decided to get these snake print thong sandals.
I've provided the link for your convenience. With the sale, these were 50% off so I paid $19.50.

These are the ones that my daughter got. She wears a size 7.5, which I can fit in some of them. I said to her, I might have to borrow these every now and then depending on what I wear, hehe. There were $55.00 but they are currently just $29.00 online. Arghhh! Don't you just hate it when you buy something just before it goes on sale?

From a store called Mulan, we also managed to find some cute sandals. They were also BOGO 50% off. They actually had better deals in this store and the shoes are not as expensive as Bakers.

These taupe thong sandals comes with a cute bow and a few blings. I like that the sole has a bit of cushion. These were $26.99.

For the BOGO pair, my daughter picked these nude sandals. They were only $10.00.

We stopped by a store called Love Culture. It's similar to Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe in style and prices. I don't think we have one of those in Milwaukee. I only ended up picking up some accessories since the clothing runs a bit small for me. I did get some clothes for my daugther but didn't picture them for the haul.
I googled the store up and fortunately they do have an online store so if you are interested, you can check them out through this link http://www.loveculture.com/Index.aspx

I'm a sucker for cute hair clips even if I rarely clip my hair. This is a small gold and orange hair clip. It's in a claw style, which is my favorite type of hair clip. The design is a cute peacock.

Another pretty hair clip I picked up is a teal color with a flower design. This is also a claw style hair clip but it is also larger than the first one.

Brown faux leather wrap bracelet with rhinestone studs and chain.

Large black faux leather bracelet with rhinestones, studs, and chains...ahhh yes, that's so in style right now!

I was lucky enough to come across Charming Charlie for the first time! My reaction was OMGeeee! This store is huge! They have accessories in every color! I know we have one in my area but I've never actually been there.
I didn't really find anything I really wanted. I picked up this black and silver buckle bracelet cuff. I really like this style. The bangle has a black and white snake print.

Ahh What can I say, when I shop with my daughter, she always picks up stuff for herself too so double the trouble for me. She picked this interesting looking ring, also from Charming Charlie.

I purchased these two dresses from Charlotte Russe. I'm totally filling my closet with dresses this summer. The plummy mauvy dress is $19.99 and the minty color dress is $28.99.

I wore this outfit to work yesterday. As you can see, I'm wearing new stuff I bought from my haul. The dress is very comfortable and cute. It falls just slightly over my knees. I paired the dress with a baby pink cardigan that I purchased from Maurices since I can't go to work strapless, lol.
For accessories, the sandals are also new and from Bakers. I'm also wearing my Michael Kors watch along with a couple pearl bracelets and pyramid bracelet. The necklace is a heart and arrow design from Betsey Johnson.

I just noticed that my lipstick hasn't completely faded throughout the day. It was a long day, I didn't get home until 7:30 pm. I'm wearing Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in shade 08, well what is left of it. My makeup was very minimal since I didn't have much time to do my face. This is how I typically look when I go to work, lol.

    2. I think from now on I should also take pics of the name and style number on the box. I couldn't find where I put the box. The brand is Breckelle. I was able to find it online though this site doesn't have it in nude http://www.urbanog.com/Breckelle-Lea-08-Gladiator-Flat-Sandal_100_21912.html
