Nicole by OPI She's Lily Something Swatches

I just picked up this polish the other day at Ulta and I think this has got to be one of the girliest nail polish I have. It's sheer and more meant for layering but it's got gorgeous pink and purple shimmers and pink star glitters. If you don't mind a bit of visible nail line, you can certainly wear it alone.

I have two coats on the ring finger, on its own. For the rest of the fingers, I'm wearing 2 coats of NYX Advance Salon Formula Nude White 189 and 2 coats of She's Lily Something on top.

The formula of She's Lily Something is somewhat thick but easy to work with. The only problem you'll run into is getting the pink stars. They are rather sparse so you will have to finagle with it a bit. I would suggest using a dotting tool or a toothpick to help you pick them up and place them where you want them on your nails. I think it's worth the effort. Pictures don't do this mani justice cause the shimmers are beautiful so it's much prettier in person and it's so cute!

What do you think? Too sheer for your liking or is this something you would like to try?

    1. Me too! I was happy to add some shaped glitter to my stash.

  2. This looks like such a nice polish! I love how it has stars but hate how its so hard to grab the stars onto your nails and how little there seem to be in the bottle. Either way, its still a pretty polish!

  4. I like the sheerness and the stars but I don't like the texture! Would have loved it more if the base was solid and glossy!

    1. That would have been nice too but I don't mind the shimmers.
