Sally Hansen Black and Blue Swatches
I don't know why I was thinking today was Tuesday but Boss lady informed us that we are expected to have a snow storm coming our way tomorrow. Supposedly the biggest storm of the season...Yikes. Weather man is saying 4-7 inches. Sighhh....I bet you they still gonna make us work in the middle of the stupid storm like they did a couple year ago. I actually got stuck in the work parking lot shoveling my way out and people went retarded and parked next to me, behind me, and in front of me. I was scheduled to leave early that day but needless to say I wasn't able to get out of the lot until an hour later. I just couldn't comprehend these people. Whatever happened to common sense? Just because you don't see the lines of the parking stall, doesn't mean you can park anywhere.
Anyhow....let get down to business...
Not really black or blue but more teal and bluish purple. At most angle, it's a shimmery teal and at other angles it shifts a bit dark purple. Formula applies a little thin on the first coat but I didn't have a problem with the second coat, which is what I'm wearing on the swatch. You can see the brush stroke if you look up close but they are not that obvious in person. I usually have some issues with the brush on these Sally Hansen Salon Manicure. I don't hear people mention but the bristles on the brush are kind of stiff and uneven. I can never get a clean application with the brush. It's always sloppy and gets on my cuticles so I often end up cleaning the edges. Anyone has that problem or is it just me?
The duochrome effect is subtle but noticeable. It just really depends on how the light hits it. This kinda reminds me of a peacock feather. They should've named it Peacock Feather now that I think of it, lol.

ReplyDeleteCame home early cause the school called me that my daughter is feeling sick. I wanted to go shopping but it's pretty slippery out there so I just stay home.

ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoy it too. I love blues, purples, and teals on my nails.
