I haven't really been keeping up with MAC collections lately but my friend Celia asked me if I wanted to go check out their new Hey Sailor collection, which just launched in stores this past Thursday.
I didn't find much that interested me, though I have to admit that I was really digging the packaging, lol, another reason to find myself buying something. Anyways, I think I did good. I only picked the items that stood out for me.
- MAC Blessedly Rich lipglass, $15.50. I have quite a bit of lipglosses that fall within the pinkish nude category but this one was calling out to me anyways. From the tube, I like what I'm seeing, which is a shimmery pinkish, copperish, goldish color, lol. Well you can tell that from the swatch as well. I haven't worn it on my lips yet but this looks like something I could wear everyday if I wanted to.
- MAC Old Gold pigment, $21.00. I'm not very knowledgeable with MAC products but this sounds like something that may have been released a few times, either that or it maybe a permanent product with a new packaging, lol. Anyways, I really liked it when I swatched it. It's like an antique gold with a green duochrome to it. It's super pretty and I have the urge to do a look with it right now, lol.
That is all I hauled from this collection. There was a bronzer that I liked but definitely didn't need it so I skipped on that one. Perhaps I'll get it if I can find it later at the CCO.
