This shade has been on my wish list for a while but wasn't really something I need immediately since I know it wasn't a color I was going to get much wear out of it but I still wanted it cause I like bold colors. The fact that these are pretty affordable and less expensive than other drugstore brands makes it quite convenient for me. I was lucky to find it at CVS for 50% off so only ended up paying less than $3.00.
If you've tried the Rimmel Kate lipsticks before, you know that the pigmentation is excellent. The formula is neither drying or moisturizing and probably not the best out there but for the price, I would say it's still worth considering.
I highly recommend that your lips have been exfoliated and conditioned prior to applying this lipstick because it will enhance any dryness you have. Even if I have done so, you can still see how it settles into my lip lines.
04 is a dark reddish plum shade with a bit of purple in it. I would love this even more if it was matte but on the flipside, I can see myself pairing this with a dark plummy gloss as well to hide the imperfection even though they are not that obvious.
By the way notice any change in the lighting? I'm really liking it cause it improves the colors of my swatches. That second lamp helped a lot.
